Forest Park, the largest natural urban forest reserve in the U.S is located nearby and invites you to come and explore 5000 acres of hiking trails.
Spend the day here or in the Columbia Gorge, hiking, biking, or kayaking, then return home for a quick shower and you are out the door to Portland's nightlife. Take in the symphony or get tickets to one of Portland's numerous live theater performances. Cinema 21, featuring independent films is just two short blocks away. You are blocks from numerous art galleries in the Pearl District and across the street from one of Portland's artist 'active spaces'. The apartment was beautiful, in a great location, the pack-n-play was perfect, the closet made a great playroom/bedroom, and the kids loved the animal tubby-scrubbies (as we named them). You thought of just about everything in equipping an apartment for vacationers, and everything was very comfortable. This was our first big trip with two kids, and I was a little apprehensive about how it would all work, but staying at your place made it easy. And Portland is a fabulous city - we all loved it! Thanks again for helping to make our stay in Portland so smooth and comfortable. We hope to get back someday (there's so much we haven't done yet)! ~ rebecca
