Enjoy waking up to a dramatic sunrise to start your day. Drink that morning cup of coffee on the deck overlooking the water, but be sure to keep your eyes open for the magnificent bald eagles that nest in the immediate area. You can play all day on the water or do nothing but relax and soak up some rays. Once the sun goes down enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature as they lull you to sleep or build a campfire in the firepit area located down by the water and roast marshmallows for some s'mores.
This side of the lake is much sought after for it's warm water temperature between April and November. The water is clear with a sandy bottom great for swimming. Enjoy excellent skiing and tubing. Even during peak summer holidays this side of the lake is less congested with calmer waters than the public "cold" side. Bring your boat, jetskis, fishing poles, and suntan lotion to this one of a kind getaway!
