- The Princesa resort is the only "non high rise" resort in Rocky Point. A maximum of 5/6 floors in height, The Princesa boasts of beautiful landscaped gardens with 3 large swimming pools, 1 heated during winter months, 3 kids pools, Jacuzzi, gym, restaurant and bar all on the beach. About a 6 minute drive in the center of Rocky Point, the Old Port and Malecon many shopping areas with beautiful hand crafted Mexican novelties, clothing, crafts and furniture to mention but a few. Rocky Point, only a 4 hr drive from Phoenix or Tucson and not much further to California with a new highway scheduled to open in the next few months, can also be accessed by plane directly from Los Angeles. A new International airport is scheduled to be complete in 2009 with services to South America and Canada. A passport or birth certificate and driver's license is now required for reentering the US. The condo sleeps up to 6 people and from Nov-Feb. Sun/Yhurs is $120 per night plus $35 cleaning fee.
