My family had a wonderful time at the house. The property is in very good conditon and the house is nice. The flat screen TV above the fireplace is a nice bonus. The pontoon boat is a huge plus and worked great every time. The lake is great....very quiet and not crowded at all. We had good luck catching pan fish and some decent small mouth. The location is great....close to town and grocery shopping but far enough away with very little traffic around.

We recently returned from a week's vacation spent at this lake home and it was a fantastic trip. We enjoyed every minute. The owners walked us through everything upon our initial visit, there was plenty of room for my wife and 2 kids, and the house was exactly as the owners had advertised. It was very clean upon arrival and it's in very nice condition. The living room area has a very large flatscreen TV over the fireplace (great for the kids at night). The beds were very comfortable. The pontoon worked great. While it's very well used and weather beaten that was no matter. It started without fail every time and was the perfect thing to get us around the lake each and every day (and evening). The view to the lake from the house is absolutely perfect and we enjoyed many cups of coffee on the deck just staring out to the water. There's a very nice little area for grilling as well as a firepit. The lake itself is incredibly peaceful. There's very little, if any, traffic on the lake. It's also relatively small (about 280 acres) so it makes it easy to quickly navigate around. We absolutely plan to return and would recommend to any friends or members of our family. It's a great place for a getaway and we were sad to have to leave upon the trip's ending.

We enjoyed our stay at the house. We found it to be very accomidating to our family of five. We have 3 boys between the ages of 5 and 11. This property worked out perfectly for us. The pontoon boat was a huge plus. The owner was very nice and accomodating. We enjoyed our stay on the quiet lake. The drive to Minocqua and surrounding areas was only a short drive so that was a huge plus also. I would definatly recommend this property to a family with children. We had really enjoyed our stay.

After numerous e-mails we planned with this owner to rent for the week. 10 of us arrived, he took our money, then he wouldn't leave! He lurked around for hours! Then at 8:00pm he decided that he didn't want to rent to us. We are not a wild bunch or anything like that. The 10 people staying are my relatives, (father, mother, sister, brother and their spouses) My husband has been in the military for over 25 years and is deploying to Afghanistan in a few weeks. We traveled 8 hours to this place to be totally insulted by this guy. We had to wait until noon the next day to get our $ back. In the mean time, we had to find another place to stay. Not to mention the inconvienence of having to repack our stuff. He charged us for the night and made us clean the house before he would give all our $ back. This place has 2 very small bedrooms and the 2 loft rooms are a joke. If you stand up you will hit your head on the ceiling. The beds are just single boxsprings and matresses on the floor...not beds. Do not recommend!
Owner response:The contract and acknowledgement with the principal was for eight people. Six adults and two children. This party arrived with two additional adults and a boat which they launched on the property before we arrived. This is a private lake meaning no public launch. We are members of our lake association with respect for our neighbors and the boats coming and going from our property. We ask for names beforehand for insurance purposes. They never did respond. We expect renters to feel and act like it is their own home because it is ours also. The principal agreed to leave the following day rather than exclude their invitees. We agreed to give them their money back with our lost revenue. The spouse who wrote this review, most likely never saw or recognized the written agreement and the terms which we carefully spelled out beforehand..
