For your next vacation, you and your family deserve to be Liv’n the Good Life, complete with all the furnishings and amenities of a world-class resort, but with activities and facilities that meet the needs of the entire family.

This wonderfully comfortable and well appointed home was professionally decorated by the designers at Lovelace Interiors to make you feel, well, at home. Walk out the back door and you’re on the 18 miles of quiet wooded lake and beach trails that define WaterColor. Located in the peaceful Lake District you’ll be safely tucked away from the traffic and chaos of 30A but only minutes away from everything WaterColor has to offer.

WaterColor offers much more than just the pleasures of the beach.
Enjoy access to the many first class diversions situated throughout the 499-acre community. Western Lake, a rare, 220-acre coastal dune lake bordered by coastal pine forest, is among them. The BoatHouse outfits canoe, kayak, and sailing excursions. The gulf-front Beach club with its oversized pool deck and grill, beach sundries, showers and complimentary towel service is conveniently located adjacent the white sand beaches of the gulf. Cerulean Park, linking gulf to lake, is Watercolor’s central gathering space, and Town Center is a collection of retail shops, offices, and Sugar Pies WaterColor Market. Hiking and biking paths unfold in an extensive woodland trail system within WaterColor.

A Great Home to Relax and Entertain.
When you’re spending time at home, you’ll find it great for entertaining the adults while allowing the kids to hide away and “do their own thing”. The well appointed kitchen flows to the family and dining rooms and opens up to the screened-in porch. The cook in the family will love working in the kitchen using the Wolfe gas stove, Sub-Zero refrigerator, granite counter tops and farm sink. Or, send the cook outside to do some cooking on the gas grill. Either way, with 12 settings for the table, you can have friends over and enjoy a wonderful evening, or just sit comfortably by the fireplace and watch a movie. The kids can hide out in the living room and watch their own movie or play games on the computer. But with our high-speed wireless internet and every bedroom equipped with TVs, DVD/VCR players, they can really go anywhere in the house and enjoy themselves.

Spend a lazy morning drinking coffee on the private screen porch of the master bedroom, or enjoy some relaxing “Me” time on the screened porch looking over the quiet and peaceful trails and natural areas that wind throughout WaterColor. Do what you want; you’re Liv’n the Good Life!

Park the car and put away the keys.
At WaterColor, you can literally forget the car and walk or bike everywhere you want to go. Our home comes equipped with 6 adult bikes, 5+ kid bikes, and an all-important bike trailer for hauling your gear (Additional bikes can be rented at the WaterColor Bike Barn). Your family will be able to bike everywhere you go with the close proximity to the beach, four swimming pools – some heated year round, Camp WaterColor – loaded with supervised activities for kids 4 to 12, the world-class Tennis Center – with 5 Har-Tru Courts and a Pro Shop, WaterColor InnSpa – a totally indulgent Spa experience, Lots of shopping and dining - at the shops of WaterColor and the Village of Seaside, or Go Fishing – we have a supply of poles and tackle for fishing on one of the lake piers.

Well equipped for one or two families.
The upstairs is configured with three bedrooms. The master bedroom comes with a king bed, large bathroom with two vanities, shower, walk-in closet, and a private screened porch. The second bedroom features another king bed and a private bath with a large shower. The third bedroom is equipped with two queen beds and a private bath with a tub/shower combo. Downstairs close the pocket doors and the living room/office serves double duty as a fourth bedroom, complete with a full-sized sofa bed and adjoining bathroom with shower. We also stock Aero Beds and extra pillows and blankets so you can configure the sleeping any way you want.

A note about renting our beach house.
We’ve been there; we know what it’s like when you’re scanning the VRBO listings looking for a vacation home. You’re probably asking “Are we making the right choice?” “Will it be as clean and nice as the pictures?” “Will it really be good for the whole family?” Well, this is one choice that will make you the hero. We learned over the years what we like in a rental home, then we made our home match it. The home is new, functional and clean with a nice warm feeling. The furnishings are high-quality and professionally selected, not sterile-looking commercial-grade. It’s well appointed – when our family goes to the house (yes, we use it regularly ourselves), we usually bring another family and we don’t want to be hauling a bunch of “stuff” with us. The kitchen is stocked – seems like you no sooner start making a pitcher of frozen drinks for the adults when the kids show up looking for their own. So yep, there are two blenders. And two coffee makers, multiple frying pans, etc. Air compressor for blowing up rafts? Yep. Cooler for keeping drinks? Yep. Bike trailer for hauling the gear to the beach? Yep. Towels for the pool? Yep. Computer for checking email? Yep - and a high-speed wireless network if you have to bring your own computer. You get the idea. We’ve made this our beach house, and we’d love to have you as our guest.

  • Our week in Florida was made extra special by these beautiful accommodations. The house in itself is superb, very spacious, light, perfectly clean and with every amenity you could ever imagine. The hosts have really thought of everything: from towels, to cooking equipment, to bikes, you name it, it is there. We said multiple times that we felt like we were staying in a 5 star hotel, that's how beautiful this home is. And the pool, the beach, both are just a short bike ride away and both are pristine. The areas of Watercolor and Seaside are perfect for families with boutiques, ice cream parlors, restaurants, everything you could want for a fun beach vacation. I can't wait to go back someday soon!

  • This place is wonderful! It is indeed "well appointed," comfortable, and is a great place to make great memories. It is not only well maintained but thoughtfully equipped. My personal favorites are the wooded bike path right outside the door and the private screen porches. It's a fantastic place for families or entertaining. It truly felt like a home away from home and I look forward to returning.

  • Liv'n the Good Life is easily attainable at this lovely and beautiful home! The house is equipped with everything from kitchen gadgets to bicycles for everyone. The beach is accessible with a short and easy bike ride. I went recently with my girlfriends and had a fabulous time, but would go back in a heartbeat with my family!

  • This was our second year at Liv'n the Good Life. We had a great time as always. We love staying hear becuase they have everything that we need and we don't have pile the car up with Floats, coolers, bikes etc. The house has everything that you would need in the kitchen and we love having the Pulix Grocery right down the street so that we can load up on food for the week. The house is close enough to the beach so that we can walk or ride the bikes but far enough away to give us some privacy. This is a great place to stay. The Riley's

The location is great for the beach, all the pools and the bike paths PLUS all the amenities you don't think about - fully stocked bathrooms, linens, bike lights, beach toys, floats, etc. We have stayed in this house many times and love it more and more. As new properties go into VRBO from Watercolor - this one is a stand-out! You will not regret staying at this house!

  • Our family truly enjoyed staying in this beautiful home in Watercolor! The gracious owners thought of everything to make our stay wonderful! All the "extras" that you might need are already there! We loved sitting out on the screened in porch, riding our bikes everywhere, and the beautiful pool overlooking the ocean! Everything was perfect and we can't wait to go back to Liv'n the Good Life!!!

  • We stayed in "Liv'n the Good Life" August 10th-17th, 2009. We had a really great time. The house is wonderful, very comfortable and well equipped. Next time I can pack a little lighter! The screen porches were great, we spent most of our "house time" on the two screen porches. The location is ideal, backing up against the wooded trails. Very close to the beach-five minute bike ride over the bridge. Very close to pools also. We have stayed at probably a dozen houses in Watercolor and "Liv'n the Good Life" is definitely one of our favorite! We hope to be back soon!

  • I cant say enough about this house. It is definately our favorite house in Watercolor. You truly can walk in with just your clothes and have everything you need--bikes, flashlights for crabbing, shampoo/cond,hairdryers,soap,bungy cords,beach towels,coolers Truly ANYTHING you can think of is in this house. We love staying here not only for the amenities but the house is decorated beautifully but not terrified your children might ruin something. The location is our favorite in Watercolor also. I cant say enough about this house!!!Rent it but dont take my weeks :)

  • We loved your wonderful home. We have come to Watercolor many years now and loved this house the best. We will be back! The home is very spacious, but cozy! We loved enjoying our morning coffee on the backporch. It was also fun to explore your wonderful "backyard". The trail behind the house was fun for my kids to explore. The bedrooms upstairs were lovely and the closet space is amazing. We truly felt like we were in a home away from home. Thank you for supplying bikes, boogie boards, rafts, and sand toys. It was so nice not having to purchase those item this year! We also thought the bike ride to the beach was fairly simple. No major hills to climb. Thanks for the wonderful week!
