Come and enjoy our oceanfront home as we do while you're not there! We've recently renovated her inside and out, so she's in great shape. This is one fantastic location where the trade winds blow across the deck to keep you cool. You hear the waves break on the rocks below giving you a sense of peace. There are no neighbors directly on either side so you have privacy. This is a place where you can relax.
Still, if you want activities, they are all around! Just over the ridge and down the hill within walking distance is a beautiful white sandy beach and restaurant where the locals come to Hull Bay. It has the best surf break in the Virgin Islands! There, you can rent snorkel gear and snorkel the Hull Bay reef, hire a fishing charter that only has to go out about a mile to catch fish, hire a dive charter for a close by dive, OR you can sit on the beach and take it all in!
Of course, the island has all types of other attractions and things to do including some of the best shopping in the Caribbean in downtown just 15 minutes away. Great restaurants all over or cook in our well stocked kitchen or better yet grill out on the deck some fresh local fish.
I looked for years for this spot and I don't think you'll find a better one, certainly not for the price!

Just returned from our 30th anniversary trip, most of which was spent at Doug and Vikki's beautiful house overlooking Magen's Bay. If you want to shop all day and party all night, this is not the place for you. If you need an elevator to get around or are travelling with young children, try one of the big resorts. But if you want a place to relax to the sounds of the ocean waves crashing 150 feet below your sundeck while being cooled by the tradewinds as the pelicans and frigate birds glide by, you have found your spot here! The house is meticulously maintained and the view over the bay to Estate Peterborg or out toward the Atlantic is simply jaw-dropping. Bedrooms are large and comfortable, and the shower is a magnificent experience you'll long remember. We recommend self-catering to save some dollars, but 2 very nice restaurants are a few minutes' drive away for a special night out with your sweetie. The shops of Charlotte Amalie are 25 minutes south, and the Red Hook ferry to St. John is about 40 minutes east. The closest beach is 1/4 mile down a steep hill. Renting a car is advised, but driving around at night is not. This home is in the residential north part of the island, and the roads are STEEP, NARROW and not well marked. But the peace and quiet makes up for it (at least in our 50+ years opinion). Doug and Vikki were gracious hosts, and respected our privacy at all times. If you want to enjoy the beauty of St. Thomas without the crazy cruise ship crowds, we think you'll be as happy as we were at Villa Carnival.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+.

Dear Doug, I just wanted to let you know how much we loved staying at your vacation home on St. Thomas a few weeks ago. It is so beautiful, and we can tell that you take great pride in it--it is so lovingly decorated and well taken care of. The view is stunning. Waking up to the view every morning was so relaxing. We also loved Hull Bay--so quiet and lovely-- and heard some great music at the Hideaway. We are already talking about returning next year. Thanks for a great vacation.

Beautiful views.The pictures do not do it justice .It was like being in paradise.Very comfortable, relaxing, well kept, clean. Outstanding accomodations. Great customer service. Highly recommend. A beautiful home that had more than we could ask for! We slept with NO noise other than the ocean lulling us to sleep every night! Great for cooking on the deck and eating in! Watched the sunrise every morning! We will be back!

We stayed a week in Villa Carnival - it was very comfortable, and we especially enjoyed the hot tub and the beautiful deck view as we ate! We've recommended it to friends, and will come again if we're in St. Thomas!

Gorgeous views and a well equipped house. Everything you need is provided. Just bring your swimsuit and sunscreen. You will not regret renting this house. The breeze and the view on the deck is worth the trip! Thank you, thank you, thank you for a wonderful vacation!
