"Kelly's Retreat" is situated in Historic Old Homosassa. It is a fishing/boating community that has managed to keep its old world charm and offers visitors the opportunity to experience some of the 'Real' Florida. Riverside restaurants and bars offering locally caught fish & shellfish at reasonable prices, and at week-ends most of these offer live entertainment for all ages!
The house is pleasantly surrounded by natural forest & sawgrass area giving privacy and freedom to explore the natural wonders of this unique part of Florida.
The heated pool has a waterfall feature and can be illuminated in the evenings,it is also fully screened allowing the Sun "in" but the "bugs" out! There is also a 'natural' outside firepit and plenty of logs to burn for a real taste of the outdoors!
Nature & Wild-life abound here,Squirrels,Hawks,Eagles,Owls,as well as the usual Racoons,Possums,Armadillo's,Turtles etc. and occasionally Deers have even been sited on the property! All year round the birds frequent the yard,species are too many to mention,but there are books available for 'Bird-spotting' at the house.
