Central Location, Awesome Views, Private Hot Tub!

Year Purchased: 1983

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes

We love the town of Breckenridge for its many varied activities, and we love the ski area because it is so versatile and easy to navigate. We think our home is in a perfect location.

The Unique Benefits at this House

We love our home and we hope you will too! It is comfortable and easy to relax in. We have filled it with things that we know make a ski vacation work. It is removed from the bustle of the condo villages, yet close to activities for everyone. The proximity to the shuttle makes it easy for the teens to sleep in and meet us when they are ready. Our fenced backyard provides a safe place for the little ones to dig and tunnel in the snow.

C
Shuttle Stop

The shuttle runs every 20 minutes, and can be taken both directions--So. to Peaks 9 and 10, or No. to the gondola to Peaks 7 and 8.

Owner's Map of Private Homes

My sister and I own this property. Our parents purchased the historic house on the west end of the lot in 1969, the year the Breckenridge ski area started expanding. The rental home was built later to accommodate our expanded family. We remain seriously addicted skiers and backcountry travelers, and big fans of Breckenridge.

    • 1 Feb 2009 for ten nights. Superb accommodation close to town and ski bus. We stayed home every evening and enjoyed meals around the large dining table and relaxing in front of the fire. Connie was perfect to deal with and everything was exactly as described - or better! Can't wait for a return visit!

    • You couldn’t ask for a better place to stay in Breckenridge. The location was perfect! It was close to the slopes and the village. We were a party of 10 and had two teenagers with us and they enjoyed being able to walk to the shops and enjoy a little bit of freedom. The house is set up perfectly and we never felt cramped and confined. It was so nice to have a well-equipped kitchen and even nicer to have a huge dinner table for all to congregate. We also loved the hot tub after a day of skiing. I would definitely stay here again!

This has to be one of the best places to stay in Breckenridge - walking distance to the lift and into town, nice quiet street, but more importantly it is big, warm and cosy. Many an early evening was spent asleep in front of the log burner, cooking up a big dinner for the crew, and generally making ourselves at home. I'm always slightly nervous turning up somewhere new but Connie's lovely house exceeded all our expectations - and with everything supplied that you could possibly need for a great holiday, we'll definintely be back.

    • This was a terrific place to stay. We had a beautiful view of the slopes (when it wasn't snowing too hard. The house had plenty of room and very well supplied with all necessary amenities. The owners were very nice to work with and more than willing to accommodate us during our short extended stay due to record snowfall and road closure from avalanche. The location is convenient to the shuttle stops. We definitely plan to return.
