Located just 20 minutes away from Charlotte Amalie - the shopping capitol of the Caribbean, and 8 miles from the Cyril E. King Airport. Ferries to St. John and the BVI's are one mile away in downtown Red Hook, where there is duty free shopping, restaurants and a great market. While I am reluctant to leave a review for only one reason that more people will find out about this place, it would not be fair to the owners. I have been traveling to St Thomas for 8 years with the last six at Crystal Cove and this condo has been one of the nicest. Everything that you need is readily accessible. If it is not, then ask Norma and she will find it for you. If you don’t know Norma, you will by the end of your trip. Notice that the majority of the pictures shown are pictures of the condo. What you see is what you will get, no broken promises here! (You have got to love some other sites that show you the scenery not where you are staying.) You will not find a better condo for the price. Save yourself the time surfing the internet and book it now. Everything that you need is close by. The only regret I have about staying here is that my trip was not long enough! See you next year!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.
Owner response: The condo is what you see on the site - very clean, comfy, with everything you need for a 'home away from home' feel. Great for families, the elderly (its on the ground floor/no stairs) or a romantic getaway for two. We look forward to return guests, and thank you, T!

My husband and I have vacationed in St Thomas for the past 10 years. This year we decided to change condos. We are so happy we did. This condo is everything the listing describes. Clean, updated, roomy, bright and cheerful. Not only is it located on one of the most beautiful beaches on St Thomas, it is also convenient to Red Hook and the ferry to St. John. Charlene was wonderful to work with. She was warm, friendly and a delight to work with. Should we choose to return to St Thomas for another vacation we would definitely stay here.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Having never been to St Thomas before, I did my research and came across Crystal Cove on Sapphire Beach. It looked nice from the description and photos, was priced right and seemed to be located where the brochures say is the place to be. All I can say is, my wife and I were not disappointed. OK - let's get this out of the away. Yes - I would recommend this property and yes- I would definitely stay here again. The unit was as advertised, clean, up to date and inviting. The air conditioner was on when we arrived and we immediately felt relaxed after the long trip to get there. And with the enclosed patio, we had ample living space. We enjoyed breakfast each morning looking out the windows to the pond and flowers and sometimes an iguana. We enjoyed the convienence of the 2 full bathrooms as a his and hers. All amenities you expect were there plus a few bonuses (like a bag full of snorkel gear and big screen TV). The complex is gated which we liked. Internet service is not free at complex but can be found nearby. Although an older complex, Crystal Cove is well manicured, clean, has its own portion of Sapphire beach and a great view of St John and the BVI. We had lounge chairs available to us whenever we went to the beach (it was a short 300 ft away). The location on the East End of the island was well away from the city traffic and hustle bustle of town but very close to Red Hook, ferries, great restaurants, activities and other sights and beaches. The owners/managers were fantastic to work with and made the rental process easy. We needed a gate pass and a phone call to the on-site property manager (on a Saturday afternoon) brought one in less than 10 minutes. Everyone was very nice and friendly. We had great customer service before, during and after our vacation. We loved the condo. However, the beach during our stay had a constant breeze from the east causing the water to be a little rough for snorkeling. But no problem, just jumped in the rental car and went to Coki to tour Coral World (it was worth it) and fantastic snorkeling. The reef comes almost to the beach and the fish are right there. We went back to Coki our last day. Magen's beach is beautiful and we spent a day there. Warm and calm. Driving is a challenge but rent a car to get around. Take a GPS, we used ours everytime we left the complex and needed it. We had an excellent anniversary dinner at Agave' Terrance. Try Molly Malone's in Red Hook too.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you, P & M! So happy you took every advantage of exploring all that St Thomas has to offer. It is truly an incredible island with so much and is user-friendly to those who have never visited before. We look forward to your return, as our home is your home in paradise! Cheers, Jen

My husband and I came to St. Thomas for a Wedding on the beach - while looking into where we would stay we discovered HomeAway.com, we are so glad that we did! We found a wonderful condo to rent in a great location! It was in excellent shape - well maintained (not all places in St. Thomas are well maint.) This Condo - is right on the beach and the grounds are groomed daily keeping it lush green and very well maintained. The condo itself - was lovely and having 2 bathrooms is so nice. The kitchen is well equipped. Parking is so convientantly close to the back door and front door is just steps away from the beach. The family that owns the condo is so nice and very easy to work with. Our friends that came for the wedding stayed in a resort very near and were envious of our condo- Thier rooms were in disrepair and not clean, for the size and the price - you can NOT beat the stay at Crystal Cove Condo (the other condo's seamed just as nice) The laundry was convient also. The family provided a lot of good information about the condo and local information. it was quiet - had no trouble or noise from any neighbors only the rooster which greeted us most mornings We would stay here again - and highly recomend Sincerely Bob and Tammy BRecommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway.
Owner response: Thank you Bob and Tammy - so happy you enjoyed yourselves and also got to relish in the fresh fish you caught! Yum! Always a pleasure to have guests enjoy our condo and the surrounding area of Sapphire Beach. Its a magnificent condo on immaculate grounds located so close to the water. We take great pride in the simple and tasteful spirit of our unit. Our housekeeping staff is the best - no detail is overlooked. Please come again, you know we'd love to have you! Cheers, Jennifer

So my wife thought we were going to Gatlinburg TN. for our 10th! Nope surprised her the day before I must have looked through 250 properties on St.John and St. Thomas and I found the right one! At first glance Crystal Cove is a little dated just coming in past the gate , but then as you come up to the large common area it is like a botanical garden. It is well groomed and extremely colorful a real delight for the eye. The condo is light, airy and very clean. The pics do not do it justice. It is an attractive Condo! The kitchen is well appointed and we actually prepared dinner 3 out of 5 nights and most lunches as well. There is a charcoal BBQ out front too. The location is GREAT! Sapphire Beach is tremendous. It is everything a beach should be plus iguanas and ducks. The stretch of the beach there was superior to every where else that we went. I heard to go to Magans bay but why Saphire Beach is great. Snorkeling right there crystal clear water and great sand. Up the beach to the "Nicer" Sapphire beach resort (It looks dated too but the rooms are not as updated, clean, or as large SBR was not impressive for what they charge) the beach is not as nice (i.e. rocky.) There is snorkling gear there already provided for you which is a great touch. I did leave an intertube there for you to use it didn't fit packing so enjoy only has a few hours on it. Location is great but took a day to get used to. Red Hook has plenty to do and see and good places to eat as well it is about 1-2 miles and a $1 safari ride each in. Just go up to the road and wait a few minutes you'll see one. You can walk back but there are many taxis by redhook dock to St. Johns you can take back for $5-8. A little more if you are dragging 10 bags of food back from the Marina Market which is open 6:30-9pm. Go to St. John as the ferry is at Red Hook. Get sandwiches at Mongoose grotto Deli walk across the street to the nat'l Park welcome center then hike the Lind trail around to Honeymoon Beach as the hike is easy and has an over look of Cruz bay that is great for pictures and the beach/view is spectacular. It is out of the way and dierctly across the pillsbury sound from Sapphire Beach. Probably only people there are from dive ships as they stop there becuase it is beautiful and secluded. Alltogether Crystal Cove is a Gem! We'll be back and we'll stay in D-19 by far the nicest most up to date condo there! Thanks Frxxxe Family our 10th Anv. was a success!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.
Owner response: We are delighted you had a fantastic time at D19 and we look forward to your return! It was a treat to keep the surprise top secret! We continue to hear rave reviews from guests who stay with us. We have a fantastic housekeeping and grounds staff, great on-site management, and caring neighbors who all go out of their way to make everyone comfortable. Happy 10th to you Mr and Mrs M!! Jen
