Marie, we really enjoyed your spacious condo. The king bed is super confortable and the kitchen was equiped with everything we needed. The Tommy Bahama beach chairs are quite nice and of course the beach is awsome. All in all, a great value. Can't wait to return.

We had such a lovely time at your condo! It was everything you said it would be! The location cannot be compared - only a 2 minute walk to the beach. The pool area was also perfect for those windy - Kihei afternoons:) Marie, you were always a pleasure to correspond with. We can't wait to come back! We would have no hesitations recommending your place to any future guests!

What a great place, clean and well maintianed we would highly recommend this condo to all. The owners were so profesional from start to the finish of our holliday in paridise. If your thinking of staying in the Kehei area please consider this complex and specificly this condo you will not be dissapointed. The grounds, pools and barbque area are kept spotless, so close to the beach and some great resturants. Be sure to try 808 bistro you will be amazed.

The apartment was fully equiped, with a washer and dryer which was very useful given the amount of beaching, snorking and diving we did. Great location for the apartment on the main road yet set further back so that you do not get to hear the noise of the road. The booking process was very easy and the owner very helpful. The only small issue i had was that at night there was this constant noice and it was loud ( i am guessing it was either coming from a nearby apartment, or some sort of generator outside, we could not quite place it but it definately was not the AC in the aprtment). The highlight of the trip was the summit hike from Haleakala ( anyone considering this, please take lots and lots of water as it is very dry, dusty and can get very hot. We also did the Molokini snorkel, which was abit disappointing ( mainly due to the fact we had done Tahiti year before) For first timers it would good fun although it does get very crowded. Overal had a realxing stay and apartment was good value for money.Our favourite place to was Pitta Pardise- amazing soft and tasty pita

Yes. This is definitely a nice place to rent. It has everything that a family needs for a vacation. The place is clean and quiet. The beach is just across the road. We had a fantastic 3 weeks here in paradise! The condo was absolutely perfect for us. We love the location to the beach. Our favorite spots were La Perouse Bay, Ulua beach, Big Beach, Honolua Bay, and, of course, Kamaole II. Snorkeling was a highlight- turtles, schools of fish, and a manta ray. The drive to Haleakala was beautiful! Mahalo for providing everything we needed. We already want to come back. :)

Absolutely phenomenal accomodations! We loved the condo and will recommend it to friends and family. As far as activities, Kelii's Kayak and Snorkel tour was great-reasonably priced and we saw several giant turtles and eels. If you like sushi, make sure you visit Koiso Sushi Bar just down the street. Everything is flown in from Japan-the real deal! Sansai, farther down the way, also has phenomenal sushi and a little fancier rolls if that's your thing. We went to 808Bistro and were appalled at the terrible service. It was so bad (the hostess made sure to tell us reservations don't actually guarantee seats) that we left. Hit up South Shore Tiki Lounge for good local pizza and cheap drinks with live music-good stuff. Last, but not least, if you do the road to Hana make sure you go all the way to Haleakala National Park Kipahulu. There are several hiking trails you shouldn't miss. Mahalo!

Loved the place! We come for 2+ weeks every year. If you know how to snorkel, skip Molokini, get your own gear at "The Scuba Shack" (by the ABC store, just North of here). Charlie, the owner, is awesome. Get "Maui Revealed" and snorkel all beaches south of Wailea. Saw turtles, octopus, 3 kinds of eels, even a small white tip sleeping at the left side of Po'olenalena beach. Eat at 808, top notch. Appetizers @ Oceans :) . Breakfast at Kihei Caffe, great omelette and fried rice. Taco Tuesday at Fred's (awesome tacos and enchiladas and walking distance...great cocktails) If you love beer, discover "Maui Brewing" in Kahana, 10ish miles past Lahaina.

Great time with grandchilden staying next door. Great book to get hints of island... Last night here went to Sorento's...2nd time at Maui Banyan, will keep coming here. Love to walk everywhere. This is a beautiful place, great location. In the morning we would wake up and go down to the beach with our almost two year old and play in the sand. It was nice to have all the beach toys, towels, mats all here. It made it very convenient. We wish we could stay another two weeks. Next time!!

This condo and complex looked very nice in photo's and we found that we were pleasantly surprised to find that it the seemed nicer than the photo's and just like home. Marie's condo was very well equipped, right across the street from three very nice beaches, within walking distance to most restaurants and a grocery store. Thanks Marie for being so easy and helpful to deal with. I would highly recommend this property and we hope to stay here on our next trip to Maui.

We stayed in this one-bedroom condo for 5 nights in December 2010, and we were very pleased with the unit. The decor is very nice, the new sofa bed was very comfortable, as was the bed in the master - very nice. We've learned that an uncomfortable bed can make or break a holiday, so this was a positive for this condo. Little extras like the iPod docking station and Dvd's were appreciated, and we were pleased that the owners provided a cooler, lawn chairs, beach towels, sand toys, etc., etc., as we learned on this trip that not all condo owners provide these items. Having these at hand certainly make a difference when it comes to planning beach outings. Marie was extremely easy to deal with when booking the condo; we would definitely rent from her again in the future.

For years my wife has been saying I want to go to Hawaii, I want to go to Hawaii. So, after 15 years of marriage, I gave in. She was so excited, I was a bit less. I didn't even know where in Hawaii we were going until 3 weeks ago. But, you know something? Hawaii was the first mold when God created the Heavens and the Earth. Maui is Heaven on Earth. We came here to relax and have fun. In the Hawaiian tradition, they wrote the book. In 6 days here we did 4 days of snorkeling, one day of scuba, drove the road to Hana and back, drove the crater summit for sunrise, took in some great beach tanning time, and supported the state economy in more ways than I can remember. To us, there were no "best anythings". On a scale of 1-10, everything we did was an 11. We hope that everyone who comes here will find their own piece of heaven. Marie, we can't thank you enough for our wonderful stay in your home. We can't wait to come back next year!

Wow! Condo was great & the beach was awesome! Just about the best beach on Maui is right across the street from the condo! Condo always makes me feel like I'm home!! My husband and I greatly enjoyed our recent 10-day stay in Marie’s pleasant condo. It is located in a nice, quiet location of the Maui Banyan resort and just a few steps to one of the two swimming pools on the well-kept grounds. The condo is pleasantly decorated in Hawaiian style and comfortable in all respects, with everything supplied that guests might need (including beach chairs, beach towels, picnic coolers and more). The resort is right across the road from the wonderful swimming beach at “Kamaole II Park”. Moreover, there’s a great snorkeling spot a block away at the next beach. There are also various restaurants to choose from within a few blocks of the resort, but of course the condo’s kitchen is fully equipped to cook at home if one should prefer to do that. As to us, we fixed our own breakfast and lunch, and for dinner we either dined out or we had take-out meals "at home." We really felt "at home" in the condo and we’ll be back in the same condo for sure next time we go to Maui.

A lovely week has come to an end. Lots of R&R. Time to head home and plan our return trip next year. You have a beautiful condo, Marie!! There is lots to see and do here in Maui, my best tip to all visitors is "Maui Revealed". This book is a must have. $16.95 at most tourist shops...ABC, Whalers, etc. (owner note: buy in advance at Amazon.com and save money. More time to plan, too!) Our personal bests... Best Dinner: Ahi Tuna, Prawns, Ceasar Salad and wine. BBQ'd here at the condo!! Best Souvenier shop: ABC Best Beer: Kona Longboard Lager Beast Beach: Sorry... for you to discover!!

I'd first like to say I've visited Maui 4 times, each visit at a different hotel. Never again, I've found our "usual" place! This condo fulfills your every need! Aside from two full baths to help out with your full size family (we have small children), there is a fully stocked kitchen with great appliances and all the dishes you could possibly need. Very clean! Every want for the beach is supplied from towels, coolers, chairs...it's all here! The condo is easy to find, to enter and leave is no hassle (unlike hotel check-in and out lines!) The beach is a short walk (like walking to my mailbox in the country). One of the main routes of the island is right around the corner, so easy access to drive to the sights you want to visit while on the island. Park your rental car just across the driveway in the ramp (we parked on the 3rd level to park directly across from building H). BEAUTIFUL SUNSETS and you can hear the ocean waves! Will stay at again when visiting Maui again!!!! You would be missing out if you decided to stay anywhere else.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Maui Banyan unit. The location to the shops, restaurants and beach could not have been better. We just walked across the street and watched as many susets as we could. The spacious bedroom was a hit for us as we tend to pack for a month, not for the week we really do stay. The owners of this unit are great people. We recommend "The Four Winds II" 5 hour snorkeling cruise.

We thoroughly enjoyed this condo for our stay in Maui. It was not only so convenient to the beach but a great location to do all sorts of sight seeing around the island. The condo had all the things you needed. We ate in most of our stay so it was convenient to have the big kitchen with space to move around in. Also, the grills at the poolside were awesome. There was always one available even during the busy weekend. The condo has a pool which is so convenient when you have kids. They were in the pool while we cooked and grilled. It was awesome to use after a day at the beach. It is open until 10 p.m. The condo also had a convenient safe in the room. Great so you don't have to carry all your cash with you to the beach. It is also air conditioned for those hot evenings. The washer and dryer directly in the condo was a plus for me. I was able to get most of my laundry done during the evenings so instead of packing dirty clothes we packed up clean ones and had very little laundry to do at home after a very relaxing vacation. I definitely recommend this condo. It is a very quiet place to stay and very convenient. We would definitely recommend this to our friends and will hopefully visit again in the future. For those with younger kids, there are beach toys in the condo (shovels and pails). The owner was extremely helpful as well and it is always nice to deal with people who care how your stay was and are willing to take feedback to help improve for future tenents. this was our first time renting a condo. my wife and I really enjoyed our stay. everything is close by and the beach is right there. quite and clean place. use of washer and dryer and nice view. birds singing in the AM and sweet pool area. head down to Fredas for Taco Tuesday, 1/2 off tacos....best deal around. youll be pleased at this condo and the price is right! Aloha Marie & family: Thank you SO much for the use of your condo during our stay in Maui. It was great!!! We took full advantage of all the beach supplies especially the boogie boards. One of the boards broke while we were using it and we purchased a new one and left it in the closet. The condo was perfect, our daughter enjoyed having her own bathroom, t.v. and queen-size bed while we appreciated the new king-size bed in the bedroom. It was a nice surprise to also find the safe to store our valuables and the booster seat for the car. The kitchen worked fine for our dining-in meals and was nicely equipped for all our needs. A highlight of our visit was a whale watching tour with the Pacific Whale Foundation and the naturalists on board said our trip was among the top 3 tours so far this season. We look forward to more visits to Maui and hopefully more stays at your condo. We are already telling our friends about our trip and your condo. Thanks again for helping make our trip to Maui a memorable one especially for our daughter's first (but not last) trip.

I would like to congratulate you for your magnificent apartment that is so nicely decorated. The hawaiian theme was very creative. Thank you for letting us spend a vacation in Maui that we will never forget. Your apartment brought us excellent moments. If I were to rate my time in Maui we would give it 5 stars!! Thanks for providing a quiet and lovely place to stay. For future guests: The best thing in the island are the beaches. Oneloa beach has huge waves you can swim in. If you want a lot of adrenalin go there. Towards Lanikai in west Maui there are some beaches that have few people. It is like having a beach for yourself. Enjoy!!

My husband and I just spent a month at this condo and had a wonderful stay. The condo had everything you needed and was very clean. The location is great - steps to the pool and hot tub (which we loved) and across the street from one of the best beaches in Maui. We swam with the turtles there may times, a highlight of our trip. The one bedroom unit is spacious. Two bathrooms save me a lot of time. In the closet, we are glad to find all you need to the beach, like beach towels, chairs, even the surfing boards, beach toys..... Also, I like the big balcony. There are chairs enough to have a small party. Overall, my experience is excellent, price is reasonable, enviroment is good. I definitely will go back to rent this property again soon!!!

This was our first visit to Maui and we loved the location and grounds at the Maui Banyan. The condo owners have paid attention to details and it shows. Plan a whole day for Hana Hwy and get an early start. Fred's (5 minute walk) great for breakfast and Taco Tuesday! Shaka Pizza beach side. Go to the Swap Meet there for some great buys. We went to Big Beach today- awesome beach, mediocre snorkeling. We have a snorkel trip to Molokini and Turtle Arches tomorrow and are excited but won't be back to Banyan since we'll be spending the next week at our daughter's home. If we have the opportunity to return we will definitely spend part of the time here again. Thank you Marie and family for your hospitality and the use of your awesome condo!

Aloha Marie & family: Thank you SO much for the use of your condo during our stay in Maui. It was great!!! We took full advantage of all the beach supplies especially the boogie boards. One of the boards broke while we were using it and we purchased a new one and left it in the closet. The condo was perfect, our daughter enjoyed having her own bathroom, t.v. and queen-size bed while we appreciated the new king-size bed in the bedroom. It was a nice surprise to also find the safe to store our valuables and the booster seat for the car. The kitchen worked fine for our dining in meals and was nicely equipped for all our needs. A highlight of our visit was a whale watching tour with the Pacific Whale Foundation and the naturalists on board said our trip was among the top 3 tours so far this season. We look forward to more visits to Maui and hopefully more stays at your condo. We are already telling our friends about our trip and your condo. Thanks again for helping make our trip to Maui a memorable one especially for our daughter's first (but not last) trip.

This unit at the Maui Banyan is as good as the pictures. This unit has great elevator access (not all the buildings at the property have elevators) but the parking structure doesn't have an elevator. Luggage dollies and shopping carts are available at the front door to transport your stuff. The king-sized bed was perfect and the queen pull-out sofa was great for our daughter. Having two full bathrooms and a washer/dryer are big pluses. The little things were also there; some movies, books, all the dishes, utensils you could ask for as well as salt/pepper, spices and laundry/dish soap. Best of all was the in-room safe for valuables and the beach chairs, cooler, sunscreen, sand toys and boogie boards. The unit was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen appliances are a little old but everything works well. The balcony is narrow but I could still sit out at the table and relax with my book. Enjoyed the pool, hot tub and liked having the use of barbeques and table/chairs to have our dinners poolside. Location is perfect, very comfortable, casual, 2-minute drive to get to the main highway taking you to Lahaina (40 minutes) or Kahului (20 minutes), grocery stores nearby, Denny's or Moose's restaurant for breakfast, great little sandwich shop for takeout two minute walk away. If you want fancy restaurants drive five minutes to Wailea and eat there. All of our contact with the owners was great. We highly recommend this unit to everyone and we will be back. Marie You condo was a great surprise. It was clean and in a wonderful location. Kihei has much more to offer than we expected. A small suggestion would be an ice maker in the freezer. (NOTE FROM OWNER: new kitchen appliances are in our plans for the near future) It was great that you had beach chairs and other things for the beach available to us. It made it easier on us knowing that we would not have to rent or buy these items. We look forward to coming back to Maui and would definitely rent your unit again. A.M.

My tween son loved the condo-supplied boogie board and two TV's. My teen son and husband loved the free high speed wireless internet. I loved the quick, efficient communications with the owner, cleanliness & decor of the unit, short distance to the beach, 2 bathrooms, the washer/dryer, the full kitchen (with rice cooker!), the balcony & chairs, the well-stocked-beach-equipment-closet, pool & hot tub & BBQ's. We snorkelled right off the beach and saw turtles, eels, and many kinds of fish. If we ever go to Maui again, we'll certainly try this condo first!

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

We had a wonderful time here for the last 2 weeks. Just about everything we needed was provided- even the little things like salt & pepper, detergent for the dishwasher, and clothes washer. This is a great location and the resort itself is well run. Had some great meals at the Maui Thai about 5 minutes walk from here & the Vietnamese Cafe across from the Powerhouse Gym where we worked out most days. A real favorite in Lahaina was Cilantro's (Mexican). A real little gem of a beach close by is Po'olenalena but our favorite was the DT Fleming for boogie boarding. Altogether a fab time.

This place is great. We really enjoyed our honeymoon. You have provided more things than we could think of. Our suggestion to other guests is to rent a car at Kihei Rent-a-car and see the entire island. Drive to Hana and Lahaina. Book your luau early and visit the Sugar Mill. The island is beautiful. Respect the island and the islanders, they help a lot. We thank you for allowing us to share. Have a great stay.

I would like to congratulate you for your magnificent apartment that is so nicely decorated. The hawaiian theme was very creative. Thank you for letting us spend a vacation in Maui that we will never forget. Your apartment brought us excellent moments. If I were to rate my time in Maui we would give it 5 stars!! Thanks for providing a quiet and lovely place to stay. For future guests: The best thing in the island are the beaches. Oneloa beach has huge waves you can swim in. If you want a lot of adrenalin go there. Towards Lanikai in west Maui there are some beaches that have few people. It is like having a beach for yourself. Enjoy!!

We enjoyed our visit to Kihei. Your condo was lovely and CLEAN. We really appreciated it a lot. We also enjoyed Maui Thai restaurant while we were here. We enjoy Polo Beach for boogie boarding and we also saw 7 turtles feeding at the next beach left of Polo. Big Beach had some great waves while we were here. We really enjoyed Ahihi Bay and Hololua Bay for the best ever snorkeling. Better than the snorkeling when we were in the Caribbean 2 months ago!
