  This is an amazing getaway--so much better than a hotel!! The master bedroom has a king-size bed. There's a queen-size bed in the 2nd bedroom along with a queen sleeper sofa and full sleeper sofa in the living room and side-room, respectively. The "side-room" is nice place for small kids to watch TV away from the grown-ups. The views are incredible. Your view is a perfect angled view all along the beachfront to the touristy areas far away. You also have excellent views of the city and the pool areas below. The balcony has very nice outdoor furniture which can accomodate a group or provide an intimate setting for 2. I'm liking this so much that I'll be here for a few months. After I'm done, please enjoy! ;-)

  Thank you so much, Damian, for sharing your condo with us! My husband & I had a wonderful week relaxing, walking on the private beach, enjoying the beautiful pools, & visiting with the friendly residents. The unit was roomy, comfortable, beautifully decorated with wall quilts, & had everything we needed. It was everything you said it was! . We enjoyed the spacious patio both morning & evening. I loved the fob security system & the staff at Palisade Palms were helpful & pleasant. One of our favorite things to do was go to the coffee bar on the second floor for coffee , read the local paper all while enjoying the ocean view. Galveston itself was so much fun. Having grown up there & moved away it was a wonderful opportunity to see family and friends & eat out at the many wonderful restaurants---Gaidos, Sunflower Cafe, a local favorite Sonny's, Rudy & Pacos!, Saltwater---just to name a few. Thank you Damian for all you did to make our stay "perfect". Hope to see you again soon!

  After much searching I found this condo for rent. The price was great and the condo was even better. I could not have been happier with the place. I felt like I was staying in a five star hotel. The beach was not crowded and the pools was great, especially the kiddy pool. Every thing we need was in short driving distance. I picked this place out because it is right on the edge of town and not very busy. The owner was wonderful to work with and was good with his communication. Feel free to give him a call he makes you fill like a friend not customer. I could go on and on about how awesome this was. This was a A++++ experience and I will defiantly go back!!

  This was a great end to a long hot summer! The comforts of home and then some. We are fairly local to the area and you cannot beat the convenience and luxury of this condo and facility. This was our second time and it will not be our last. Just wanted to give special shout out to the kitchen accommodations (since I love to cook) they where outstanding and top of the line. We spent many hours out on the balcony which has spectacular views of the beach and the city. The owner was very gracious and accommodating and would definitely rent from them again!!! Thanks for a fabulous end of summer fling, see you next year (if not before)!

  Wonderful experience. Top notch place. Private beach. Clean and secure. Owner is a great guy to work with and lease from.Very happy with the condo, the property, and the location.   We were very leery of renting from someone on-line, but Damian Ameen was wonderful. Anytime I had any questions or concerns he was very quick to respond and set my mind at ease. The condo was great, but I think we spent more time on the balcony. The view from the balcony is just beautiful. The condo is very well stocked and I love the Crate and Barrel dishes in the kitchen. The amenities at the Palisade Palm include a beach, fitness room, game room, coffee bar, outside patio, and pool with a children's area and 2 hot tubs. There was never a shortage of beach chairs or umbrellas like some places. The beach was grated everyday and always seemed so clean. We didn't have to worry about over crowding like the public beaches. Everyone at the Palisade Palms was so friendly and helpful. The location is nice. You are close to the action, but not too close. My only complaint is the fob you receive upon check-in. The fob must be used to operate the elevators and upon entering and exiting the building. This includes going to the pool. Our family is very mobile, so there were some times when we were locked out (by the pool). I understand this is for safety/privacy reasons, but it is annoying. Over all we love the Trade Winds at the Palisade Palms and are hoping to stay there again. It was a fun and relaxing vacation for the whole family. I hope we get to rent from Damian in the near future. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Getting past that first hurdle of renting over the internet can be a big step. but sites like Homeaway and FlipKey police them for fraudulent postings. The balcony is great. We often just stay home for dinner, either cook or get take out from New York Pizza. The view is awesome and the amazing thing is that even when it is wicked hot it still stays cool on the balcony since it is perfectly angled to be shaded from the sun almost all day long. I told my wife that you liked the Crate and Barrel dishes it made her laugh. She loved them when she saw them. They are nice and big and it is hard to spill anything out of them the way they are shaped. You almost never have to leave the building with everything on the property. I am glad you were able to find a chairs and umbrellas since you did go during the peak time for the number of people that are there. It is nice that the beach is cleaned everyday during the summer. and we are over a mile away from the public beaches where there are amenities so very few people come down are way which makes it private. Sorry about the fobs. I will see if I cannot buy some more for our guests so that you have more. I just worry that they will get lost. The building is very secure between the fob access and the 24/7 security. I am glad you got to relax. As we discussed I hope that you do get to check out either our Hawaii or North Myrtle Beach condos in the future. All the Best, Damian

  Living in Houston for the last 30 years, Galveston has always been a convienent location for a getaway. Staying in your condo....well....Galveston was never better! Unlike other properties we've stayed, your condo combined the luxury resort feeling with all the privacy and comfort of home. The ocean view from the top floor was surreal . I felt like we were seeing Galveston for the first time! The beach was pristine and very private. The facility was designed like a luxury resort comparable to none others....from the main entrance to the pool, exercise room and other amenties. The unit itself was spacious and beautifully decorated with state of the art appliances and utensils, making it enjoyable to cook in. Since the devasting hurricane that hit Texas a few years back, Galveston is coming back stronger than ever. While many of the historic areas have been restored, many new beach front properties, restrautants and vendors have taken advantage of the opportunity to rebuild in Galveston. Galveston continues to maintain its unique "Texas island style" feeling but all of the new development it makes it more attractive to locals as well as vacationers. As you know, we enjoy our stay so much, we have come back on other occasions at various times of the year. Your condo makes it enjoyable for an adult getaway to family vacations. I highly recommned your rental.

  The Palisade Palms is a first class destination. It has the best location and amenities of any place on the island. The condo was nicely decorated and well equipped. The photos do not do the condo justice. The views were amazing from the balcony, the bedrooms and living area. The condo gave us the perfect place to relax in a quality, comfortable home away from home setting. Communications with the owners was seamless and they were a pleasure to work with! If you are looking for the perfect get a way place on Galveston you should stay here! We will for sure be going back there and we highly recommend their condo to all our family and friends. It is the best place on Galveston Island!

  Palisade Palms is a beautiful high rise in Galveston, Texas and this condo was equally as beautiful. The condo was very clean and equipped with everything we needed for a perfect vacation. Security is great and you will have a parking spot for your car. The staff is friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the patio with views of the ocean and the city.The city lights were especially beautiful at night. There is a pretty beach/city view from both bedroom windows. The entire surroundings are well-maintained. The pool area is wonderful. Our granddaughters were with us and the pool was their favorite part. The clean beach is a short walk across a boardwalk where we had an equally fun time. The owner of this condo was easy to work with. We would highly recommend this condo at Palisade Palms for your vacation.
