My husband, 2 year old son and I were looking to get away for a couple of days and we had a wonderful time. The house was even more charming in person! It was very spacious and could easily have accommodated many more people. There was lots of land for my son to run around and play outside and we loved the cozy fireplace. The owners also provided lots of information and pamphlets about local attractions and things to do. We enjoyed hiking down to Bash Bish Falls, visiting Beartown Lake and the Norman Rockwell museum, as well as spending time walking around downtown Great Barrington. We couldn't have been happier with the accommodations and would absolutely visit again and recommend the property to friends!

We stayed for a couple of weeks in August and by the time we left were as relaxed as we get. The house is capacious and warmly decorated, with beautiful skylights and a great, vine-covered patio out the side door. Sunny days we biked along the back roads, rainy ones we lazed indoors in half a dozen cozy nooks, reading and catching up on old movies. We also made the easy trips to Tanglewood to hear Beethoven and to Shakespeare and Company for "Richard III," and had delicious food at the nearby White Hart Inn. The house is nicely secluded without being inconveniently remote. Owner is responsive, friendly and straightforward. Highly recommended!
