Favorite vacation rental ever!
Favorite vacation rental ever!
This is my favorite vacation rental ever, not only because the unit itself was gorgeous, or because Wailea Ekahi is an amazing condo community on the beautiful Keawakapu beach, but because the owner went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure I had a good time and accomodate my travel schedule (planned and unexpected). The listing and pictures represents well what you are getting, and I would even say you are getting much more and that it is even more beautiful a setting. The unit is full of little extras so you can pack the minimum (beach gear including bags and swim noodles and mats, bathroom and kitchen supplies like toilet paper, shampoo, condiments as well as some canned goods etc., matches for outdoor candles, magazines and other reading materials in the living room, books, videos, the list goes on). I did a lot of beach sampling while in Maui and I would say the one right in front of Ekahi, Keawakapu, was my favorite. I went in early-mid November and the water was delightfully warm and no problems with rocks/coral - super soft sand, and no critters (although the beach warnings explain there is a chance of jellyfish/man-of-war, I and no one I talked to had seen any that week. Not sure if it is a seasonal thing.) Ekahi is also right adjacent to the start of the Wailea beach walk so you can walk to the lovely resort restaurants and shops down the beach. (Tip: Shops at Wailea has a store called Whalers General Store in it that is like a mini-convenience shop for quick food items and hot lunches. Access via the Marriot if coming from the beach.) It was so beautiful here. Can't wait to go back sometime.

We are absolutely loving your beautifully renovated unit here at Ekahi Village. After spending many vacations at Ekahi, we can truly say we have finally found the perfect place for us. We appreciate so much your exquisite taste and all the original artwork. Of course, the location is superb, being on the green belt and away from parking and street noise. You have thought of everything here to make our stay wonderful. We hate to think about leaving tomorrow, but are happy we can already look forward to next year!

We just returned from Maui. Your condo was wonderful for the two of us. It really had everything we could have wanted. We loved the lanai, comfortable bed, lovely furnishings, great grill and especially the well stocked kitchen. Your kitchen had absolutely everything which is unusual for a rental. Ekahi is such a relaxing place and we had a wonderful vacation. Thank you.
