Our house is a single story beachfront bungalow with a direct and striking view of the pristine waters of the Beqa Lagoon. The house is surrounded by a 3/4 acre exotic garden of bougainvilleas, hibiscus, passion fruit, papaya trees, palm, coconut and lemon trees as well as bananas. There is an abundance of bird life and even a pair of friendly kingfishers who regularly come calling.
One of the main features of the property is a swimming pool which has direct access from the large verandah that runs across the front of the house. There is a seawall which protects the property at high tide and a small sandy beach which extends to the coral flats where local Fijians enjoy good fishing along the edge of the reef.
The fully equipped kitchen opens into the dining and living room which features a stunning views of the Lagoon and Yanuca and Beqa Islands. There are three bedrooms, the master - with queen size bed, which opens on to the verandah and swimming pool area, the first guestroom with a king size bed and second guestroom with two single beds. All bedrooms enjoy the view of the Lagoon and islands.
While secluded our beach house is nearby to Pacific Harbour which is known as the adventure capital of the Pacific and attracts people from all over the world. Pacific Harbour also features a superb international golf course. There are restaurants, an international resort, shops, post shop, bank, small supermarket, taxis and many other facilities available at Pacific Harbour. Our property manager lives in the compound and is available to assist with any questions or problems that may arise during your stay, a house girl would be available for housekeeping duties and child minding. |
