Best Value in South Carolina
Best Value in South Carolina
Before I begin please understand my 3 star rating. In my opinion this condo is a good to very good property. It is by no means a 5 star property nor is it advertised as one. The outside is very clean but somewhat old feeling. By no means anything to deter renting. The pool is very nice and very clean but lacks tables and umbrellas (if you planned on eating lunch outside). The location is great, it is on the first floor of a three story building, end unit (side windows) close to steps. The inside while very clean and well kept is not "brand new" or "top of the line". It is very tastefully decorated and feels like home after only after a few hours. What you see is what you get. The pictures are extremely accurate. It also has a stack washer and dyer which is not mentioned or photo'd. Be aware it has tube TV's and spotty but usable wifi. The kitchen lacks "great" utensils, but the ones available will do. The AC is ice cold. The porch is small but has a beautiful view of the ocean. There is no place to store beach supplies so you will have to be creative. It is a carpeted condo which we do not prefer, but the carpeting was clean (no black feet, yuk!). The king bed is unusually comfortable for a rental property. Over all the place is a great find. Good for a small family or couple. Finally the value. The owner does not try to "trick" you into thinking what the FINAL cost is. His rates include all the "other" stuff. Simply put if you are a person who likes to brag about how much you spent, this is not the place for you. If you are the type of person who likes to brag about how much you didn't spend and all you got, book this place. I am convinced this is the best value vacation condo in South Carolina. A water view for less then 1k? Impossible.

Best Vacation Ever!
Best Vacation Ever!
This is a quaint beach condo located in Surfside, South Carolina. It felt like a home away from home with all amenities one would need (i.e. comfortable beds and best of all a washer and dryer). Surfside is a short ten minute drive from the busy business district of Myrtle Beach far enough away to feel like we were in a small private beach community. We could see the sunrise from our balcony and take a tranquil walk on the beach at sunset. After a nice day at the beach we were able to choose from a selection of attractions and restaurants. We ate at Rio’s Brazilian Steak House which was excellent. We visited many attractions such as the aquarium, theaters, and mini golf courses. Myrtle Beach is the capital of miniature golf and shopping for the ladies. Surfside felt like a very safe, relaxing, and family oriented town.

We had an excellent stay here. It was so nice to be able to just walk across the street to the beach. A definite plus with a little one. The condo was clean and well maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for the entire week. It was very nice to have the washer/dryer there to do a small load of laundry each night and then go home with no laundry to do. The beds do not have sheets but unlike the previous review, we did know that linens were an additional charge so we brought our own sheets and towels from home. We never got a chance to use the pool but it was very clean and not busy. There is an outdoor shower too, to rinse off sand from the beach which was a nice addition! At night it was nice and quiet and never had a problem with noise. The condo is only 10-15 minutes away from Broadway at the Beach and Myrtle Beach's main attractions. You won't be disappointed in your stay here!!

Ive stayed at condos most of my life so Ill speak from experience in my review. The location is pretty convenient since its just a short walk across the street to the beach. The unit was clean but not well maintained as I had to replace the intake filter for the a/c unit, since it was puling it into the unit because it was so clogged with dust, yet the condo was clean. I really expected to have sheets on the bed and towels and face rags in the bathroom, even though it states a charge for linens, I just assumed that was to cover the changing or replacing of them. The cheapest motels in the country at least have sheets on the bed, and I would consider that to be a bit of a health hazard by not having them. Who knows what happened in that bed last week. Every night of the week between 11 and 2 someones car alarm would go off in the parking lot anywhere from 1-6 times so we didnt sleep all night even once. The pool was clean yet there is no shade if you wanted it since there are no tables or umbrellas. The kitchen was well stocked so we didnt have a problem cooking our meals which saved us money. All in all it was a good stay that was convenient to the beach which was what I wanted for my little girls.

another fabulous vacation
another fabulous vacation
We returned for the second in a row and loved every minute. The condo has a charm that makes it feel like home. The view of the ocean is great. The location feels secluded yet it is close enough to main attractions. We also love the pool which is clean and the water is the perfect temperature. We will definitely be back. Thanks for another great vacation with many memories made.

A Lovely Property
A Lovely Property
In August 2009 we stayed at a beach front condo directly across the street from this lovely condo. In September 2010 we stayed at this VRBO location and not only experienced a substantial fiscal savings but had an even greater time. I highly recommend this property for: (1.) its location (2.) its convenient no hassle parking (3.) the prompt, friendly and thorough communication from the condo owners (4.) the super amenities and (5.) the reasonable cost. We will return again and again!

Loved this condo! It is clean and neat with all we needed for our stay! We could see the ocean from the front porch (obstructed view) and were right across the street from the beach- I have walked further to get to the beach when staying ocean front! :) Really liked the door locks that we could program- didn't have to keep up with keys! Owner was quick to respond to questions and so nice. The kids enjoyed the pool and it was clean, as well. I am afraid to leave this review for fear that I won't stand a chance of renting it next summer, but felt guilty not giving the owner feedback when the place is so great!
