  The unit was comfortable and spacious enough for 4 people. The living room/dining furniture was nice. The unit is just in need of some updating. Mainly painting and carpet or tile(which the tile would be easier to keep clean and last longer). Those two things would go a long way in making the space a little updated and cleaner. It was clean but very lived in and definately not up to my standards of clean. There was also a problem with roaches. The unit was not overrun with them but we did see more than I was comfortable with. We did contact the realty company about it and they told us that the unit and building is on a regular maintanence schedule with an exterminator but it still bothered me that the bugs were there at all. The bedrooms and bathrooms were okay. The furniture is outdated in these two rooms. The beds slept okay as well. This unit needs some tlc as far as painting and new faucets etc. It could use a good deep cleaning as well but I know it is a rental so one can only expect so much. I loved Edisto. The beach was great. We would love to visit there again next year, however, we will probably look for another rental unit.

  We stayed at your condo over the 4th of July week arriving on the 2nd and departing the 9th. Overall we enjoyed our time there as the island/resort is very low key,quiet and very pretty.We had no problems with the condo as it was pretty much as the pictures described and the information listed at the site,there was no suprises there.Some of the info we had gotten was not up to date as the amminities pass was more than we expected,considerably,and the tram was just an extended golf cart and you needed to call them when needed.We had figured it to be a tram that would carry several people and run on a route every so often on a set schedule,not so. The resort is very pretty with the streets lined with trees hanging with the spanish moss,which I love,very quiet,eveyone friendly and we never felt uneasy with the surrondings.I guess my biggest complaint is with the reality company that you have to go through.It seems they are pretty much have the corner on the market there as their signs are about the only ones you see.The unit was not "dirty" when we arrived but you could tell it was very hastly cleaned before our arrival.Quite a bit sand on the floor in the glass enclosed porch which we spent a lot of time there just relaxing.My wife swept it and got a good bit of sand and dead bugs out of the corners etc. as well as cobb webs over the sink light in the master bath and things like that.Not big items but when one is paying for the cleaning,you expect a bit more.We chose to send in a secutity deposit to be returned after 30 days if the unit is okay,why it would take 30 days to tell if the unit was okay after one leaves beats me,and I have called three times now about our deposit and have been told two different stories.We left on the 9th of July and I write this on Aug.17th and as of today we have not received ours.It seems clear they are operating on your money as long as they can.One would know if the unit was acceptable that afternoon or at best the next day since you have to be out by 10:00am in the morning.We rented bikes while there and rode over a lot of the island while there and enjoyed that as well as the excercise received and visited the pool several times and played putt-putt. Would be nice to have a grill at the unit instead of having to pack things up and go over to the pool area to grill and then bring food back to the unit but did not see any grills except for personal ones.This is the place if you are looking for a laid back,quiet,relaxing va

  Your place is absolutely beautiful! Even nicer in person than on the site. Perfect amount of space for us and the two kids! We really enjoyed it and wanted to stay again for the 4th of July, but see you are already booked! Maybe next time.

  My husband and I spent the most romantic week we could have asked for our honeymoon here. The rooms are gorgeous, comfortable and cozy. The veranda was our favorite spot in the condo. Morning coffee was never so good as out on the veranda. Thanks for a great place to stay. The drive into Charleston is a short and very scenic trip.

  Thanks so much for the opportunity to spend a very relaxing week at your beach house. Everyone had a wonderful time and your beach home offered all the comforts of home. We had a great time at the island. The boys enjoyed all the wildlife especially the toads and frogs. The highlight of the trip was going to the state park and seeing baby loggerheads set free.

  This was our 3rd trip to Edisto and we always enjoy the peace and laid back atmosphere on the island. It is nice to come back to a place that is like home after a day of beach and sun.

  Thank you for sharing your home with us. We have enjoyed it very much! My children made several comments to me and my wife saying "This feels like home, Dad." It is exactly the environment I was looking for and yet so much more. The beach and the weather felt so refreshing and rejuvenating coming from the harsh weather in Ohio this year.
