Unit has been recently remodeled and upgraded with a cook's kitchen and granite counters. Simply bring your suitcase and enjoy a romantic getaway. There are great views from our second floor lanai including a panoramic view of the West Maui Mountains. Watch sunsets or whales from the lanai. New queen sofa bed in living room, new, firm, California King bed with flat screen TV in bedroom. Living room has flat screen TV, DVD/CD player with free internet access. Local phone calls are free. This is South Kihei's premier complex in a perfect location just a stroll from pristine, sandy, swimming and snorkeling beaches with a 20 acre beach park. Miles of beach walks are at your door step. Our complex also provides 10 gas B-B-Q's for guests, a large swimming pool with two spas (hot and hotter, one is adult only)and a children's pool. Kamaole Sands has recently added a poolside, fully equipped gym.

A nice, comfortable place to land for the last 2 days of our vacation. Glad to see the washer and dryer, tho only did one load. Easy access to great popular beaches. Nice pool and hot tubs and plenty of "barbies". The owner is very prompt with info and a great communicator, very helpful. Great value, we'll be back!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

I have stayed at Kamaole Sands before and it is my favorite place to stay in Maui. Very convenient location . . .easy walking to the best beaches, shopping and restaurants. This resort is beautiful . . . gardens, BBQs, pool and hot tubs . . . everything you would want. The condo unit itself was very clean and had all the comforts of home. It is located at the back of the complex, which allows easy access and lots of peace and quiet. The owners promptly answered any of my questions and were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Just love it!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+.

This unit serves our needs perfectly. It is really a little gem in the middle of Kihei, Maui. It is located just across the street from one of the best family beaches for snorkeling, swimming, or boogie boarding. It is also just minutes by walking from shops and restaurants. This one bedroom, two bathroom unit is situated on the shady and quiet side of the resort, it is very clean and tidy, and the kitchen is fully equipped to do all of our own cooking, along with the barbecues right outside this building. We have enjoyed most of our meals outside on our lanai. The bedroom has its own air conditioner which is a bonus as well. We also really love the gorgeous grounds, and the pool and hot tub which are centrally located in the garden area at this resort. The owners are very accommodating and really want this unit to be a pleasant and satisfying experience for all renters. In short, this is one of the best values to be had in Maui.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

We had a wonderful vacation in Maui and enjoyed our stay at the Kamaole Sands in the condo we rented from Eric and Judy Kloess. Eric was very prompt in answering any and all of my emails when booking. I even phoned him and he provided wonderful advice and sightseeing information. Eric and Judy were very accommodating. There were 4 of us staying in their condo and it was very spacious and clean. It was nice to have 2 bathrooms since we brought the whole family. The AC was great to have in the bedroom. There were even 2 televisions so no family conflict about what to watch. I understand that Eric and Judy are fairly new owners and want to say they are a pleasure to deal with. The price of the condo was just right and it provided everything we needed. The Kamaole Sands property itself is very beautiful. We had great fun in the pool. We were able to pick up the daily paper at the front office. Internet was available whenever we wanted in the main office and it also available in the condo if you bring your own laptop. The Kamaole Sands property is a great location as its close to the beach, dining and shops. Everyone we met on our vacation was super-friendly. Eric and Judy - thank you very much. We greatly appreciate your letting us stay at your condo. We could have spent a lot more money on another condo, but yours provided everything we needed at just the right price and was very nice. Thanks a bunch. Patrick and I was the first visitors to stay in 4-207 since Eric became the owner. It was very clean and any concerns we emailed Eric and they were addressed immediately. The bonus of our room was there were 2 baths and an AC in the bedroom. The grounds are beautiful and the pool area was great. We enjoyed the unit so much and it really felt like home. It's the perfect location directly across from Kaomole III beach. Our unit was located at the back of Kaomole Sands and it was very quite. I would highly recommend this unit and we look forward to our next trip to Maui. Kamaole Sands resort is a well built sound proof steel & concrete structure. The pool area is sheltered from the trade winds. The nearby coral sandy beaches are the longest on Maui, & great for walking, jogging, swimming & snorkeling. Restaurants & shopping are within a 10 minute walk.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
The resort is only four stories high & the grounds are spacious, which gives it a 'rural atmosphere'. The south Kihei area is quiet, especially at night, & great for after dark romantic strolls. The weather is sunny nearly all the time with less wind than other areas of Maui, only 10 inches of rain annually.
