Have you ever been to Paradise? The paradise of Cozumel Island and it is all within walking distance of the main ferry dock. This condominium property is located 1 block east of the oceanfront and 5 blocks north of the main square of San Miguel, Cozumel's only city. It is located one block north of the 5th Avenue pedestrian mall where all the city's greatest restaurants are, the nicest shops for clothing, jewelry and Mexican artifacts, and a many of the dive and snorkel operations. While some people prefer to be on the main square of town, or on the waterfront, once you experience the quiet and serenity being located just blocks off, you'll realize that being able to walk to the action is better than trying to be able to sleep through the noise of the revelers. Also if you have ever experienced the Caribbean in a storm, you'll also appreciate the safety and relative calm by being off the water in a newly built 4 story concrete building with hurricane shutters!
There is not just a single season to enjoy Cozumel as the weather is delightful all year long. The ocean is crystal blue and abounds with vigorous sea life and is usually between 76 degrees and 82 degrees Fahrenheit. The Mexican people on this small island community are really happy to have visitors staying on their island and many are bilingual. The streets are uncommonly safe, night and day, for all ages, men and women and teenagers. It is so nice to walk among the residents of the island who often take to the streets at night as well, to enjoy the cool breezes. See this island from the perspective of a resident by staying in the city and enjoy walking to all your favorite destinations. Both private boat marinas and all of the best beaches are easily accessed by public taxis 24/7 and then you don't worry about directions! If you decide to rent a car for the vacation, there is an off street security parking area too. This is paradise on an affordable budget! Unlike some other Mexican destinations, Cozumel is not experiencing drug cartel violence. It's very safe here. Enjoy.

The week of Thanksgiving was my first time for my family and I on the island of Cozumel. The accommodations of this condo was great. It was very spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. I was really impressed by the 2 sets of dressers that contained locked drawers which allowed my family and I to store our passports securely. The kitchen contained everything that you needed. It was an added bonus to have the gas grill on the patio and we utilized it several times. I would recommend this condo to any as it was a very pleasant stay. We just loved the comforable feel of this condo. Even though there were 4 adults in our group there was plenty of space for all of us. Very clean, secure, quiet. Beautiful furnishings. The kitchen had everything we needed to fix our own meals when we chose to stay in, but when we ate out there were many excellent resturants with in walking distance. And after the wonderful meals we had we would head to the town square to walk it off. Everyone slept very well, the beds are great. We also appreciate the flat screen tv with Sky satillite. We were able to watch CBS and get weather info for our trip home. We will stay here again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

WOW!!! Our family thought this place was heaven on earth! The condo is located in the best possible location on the island and is within walking distance to the reason you go to Cozumel in the first place. We had one of the most relaxing and enjoyable holidays ever. The condo is beautiful and elegant, with all the conveniences of a 4-star hotel and the privacy of a home away from home. The service was friendly and impeccable and the location very convenient. We especially loved the screened balcony... very private, perfect for romance. Too bad I was there with my sister (smile). It would be hard to find a better condo in Cozumel! The unit itself bore no tell tales of being a rental. All the furniture, beds and bedding, appliances and kitchen items were of the fine quality one would find in an upscale home. Even a variety of mexican table ware and other interesting service ware was available for enjoyment. Many consumable items that one would expect to go buy were on hand- laundry soap, bags etc. All the rooms were spacious for our family of 6 adults. The deck was furnished with a luxury chaisse and we used the barbq often. The grounds were well cared for with parking area and large pool area. The location was close walking distance to the markets and waterfront. There are many more small details we could mention. This is the perfect location for living the Cozumel "life". You have the opportunity to walk to the main ocean boulevard in minutes, or dine and shop within the neighborhood of the local residents and business owners, who welcome each visitor with open arms and warm smiles. We have visited many times and have fully enjpoyed all that Cozumel has to offer...diving, golfing,visiting the "other side", dining and shopping. It's all perfectly perfect while staying in Las Ventanas...oh, and there is NO wasted time getting to and from the airport, as it is MOST handy!Did you find this review helpful? What a wonderful and relaxing condo. Feels like home, its quiet, very clean, completely secure and the location to all amenities is perfect. About the owner: I am a scuba diver and Cozumel is my favorite location! The reefs are vibrant, fish life abundant and the water is always refreshing and fascinating. Above sea level, I also love being on Cozumel. The Mexican people are so warm and inviting and cordially allowing visitors and guests to share in the pride of their homeland. While staying on Cozumel, I have enjoyed taking Spanish classes locally, cooking classes and painting seminars. There is a gym on the island that is clean and modern with yoga and pilates available and a great staff of trainers. There are local tennis courts, a very challenging golf course and more beaches than you can go to in a week. And naturally, one of the favorite haunts for me is the pool area at the condo. Even after a day at the beaches or scuba diving, the comfort and community of the pool is a great way to wind down. Sometimes, a swim after dinner is the perfect night cap! Literally, there is something for everyone on the island.
Why the Owner Chose Cozumel Island:
I like being able to walk around town. The condo is located only 5 blocks north of the main square and the street scene is such a lively part of the Mexican experience with kids playing in the streets and lovers on the park benches and parents not far away supervising all activities. Being one block off the ocean also allows for quiet and serenity while the town celebrates or the ocean stirs up. Cozumel has none of the problems associated with the drug cartel violence because it is an island. Criminal elements like to be able to leave the scene of the crime more quickly than the ferry schedule allows!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
While the local restaurants are wonderful, I particularly like being able to also make my own dinners. Having the BBQ grill on the deck allows me to cook my fresh catch of the day. Romantic dinners on the deck overlooking the pool area are very special.
