This new villa has a breathtaking view of the surrounding volcanoes, golf course, ocean, and sunsets from the lanai. From the spacious living room, to the oversized baths, you are greeted with a tropical feeling of Hawaii the minute you walk in the door. The master suite is equipped with a Cal-king bed, the guest bedroom has two comfortable twin beds. For your convenience each bedroom is equipped with a HD flat screen TV/DVD player, iPod docking station, cable, broadband and WiFi internet access. The sectional sofa in the living room has a pull out bed that will sleep two. This spacious room is equipped with a HD flat screen TV with over 70 channels, DVD and iPod docking as well.
The elegant decor is accented with a teak wood carved surfboard table and bed headboard for that surf feeling. The gourmet kitchen offers state of the art appliances; both baths and kitchen have granite countertops. The oversized master bath has a large walk-in shower and a separate deep bath tub.
Though you may want to spend all your time relaxing in the villa or enjoying the ambiance of the resort, you are just minutes away from the best the Big Island has to offer. The adjacent Hilton offers six restaurants, the famous Kohala Spa, white sand beaches of Anaeho-omalu Bay and swimming with dolphins. Why the Owner Chose Hali'i Kai
We fell in love with the Big Island on our first visit in 1978 and have been returning with our children as frequently as possible. Purchasing a villa in the new Halii Kai resort last year was a dream come true for our family. We sincerely hope that you enjoy the island of Hawaii as much as we do. Thank you very much. This "3D" condo was amazing. Very spacious, all necessary kitchen, washer/dryer facilities well & more than adequate. Swimming, workout equipment, & close to Queen's Market an added convenience. Our family of four were very happy & will definitely come back & rent your condo unit. Great condo! I recommend this condo to family members and friends. Our lovely accomodations were modern and comfortable with a nice tropical flair. The condo was situated so that the trade winds did not affect us while sitting on the balcony with our drinks and dinner enjoying the sunset. We enjoyed the workout area and pool in the morning before setting out for the day's activities.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

In the January 2011 issue of Golf Digest magazine, Matt Ginella wrote an article about golf on the Big Island (pages 63-65). Although Mr. Ginella did not stay in our particular condo, he did stay at Hali'i Kai as well as the Marriott while in the Waikoloa Beach Resort area on the island. The article contains a beautiful photo of the pool at Hali'i Kai. The following are quotations from the article: "...the pool at the Hali'i Kai villas is ideal for sunbathing and spotting whales." "When I wasn't playing golf...I spent most of my down time at the beach or the pool near the Hali'i Kai villas, which is where I scorched my skin (be liberal with the sunscreen) and saw several migrating whales. (The best time for whale watching is mid-December through mid-March.)" "If you want more space and a serene setting, try the two- to three-bedroom villas at Hali'i Kai, which are on a remote piece of the property."
