Enjoy this wonderful year round vacation home on beautiful South Long Lake ten miles south of Brainerd and two hours north of Minneapolis. South Long Lake is a 1300 acre recreational lake offering great fishing, waterskiing, canoeing, sailing and relaxing. The cabin offers all the amenities including air conditioning, satelite TV, washer/dryer and dishwasher. The home includes two bedrooms, one bathroom, full large kitchen, dining area, large living room and a full lower level with a bar and a game area. The deck overlooks the lake with just the right mix of sun and shade. A campfire pit is located by the lake and is great for making s'mores and watching the gorgeous sunset while listening to the loons call the end of another perfect day in paradise.
Activities and Attractions: The Brainerd Lakes area offers a variety of activities including shopping, fishing, boating, golf, tennis, biking, hiking, or quiet walks. There are also many restaurants in the area. The cabin is great for just resting and relaxing. Start the day with a cup of coffee on the deck overlooking the lake. The kids can enjoy swimming or catching fish off the dock. Bring your own boat or use the fishing boat at the cabin. The lake is fun to explore. You will enjoy watching the loon, osprey, and bald eagles. The area is also wonderful for biking on the many quiet roads.

We just got back and we had the best time relaxing and spending family time together! The owners are wonderful people and the cabin was just what we expected. Very quiet and clean w/all the amenities listed. My son had a wonderful time fishing in the boat and off the dock. The location is perfect and we hope to return next year. If you are looking for a good family vacation where you can spend quality time together you will definately want to spend a week at this cabin!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, people with disabilities.
