With over 2200 sq. ft. of living area, your vacation home boasts a large kitchen displaying exquisite granite and marble counters and pillars with two eat-in counter tops, a formal dining area and walk-in pantry large enough to serve as an eating area for pets.
Enjoy the 50" big screen TV in the cozy living room (no television service, but plenty of Videos and DVDs!) The two bedrooms and bathrooms are over-sized for plenty of personal space while creating a private get-away of comfort. Get your best night's sleep on the king size beds with memory foam in both bedrooms! One bedroom also has a futon for sitting, or it can be converted into a full size bed. The other bedroom has a full size couch, and there is also a full size couch in the living room. Custom tile and stone designs through-out the house compliment the natural sunlight coming through six skylights, including a skylight in each bathroom shower. Large laundry room has large-capacity washer and dryer (HE), in-wall ironing board and a small clothes steamer.
A six-foot privacy fence surrounds the back and side, and a four-foot picket fence compliments the front of this expansive dog-friendly 1 acre yard. Perfect for dogs, complete with pet doors that fit pets up to 100 pounds (they can go outside as they please while you explore Florida!) The outdoor hot tub and shower (hot showers outdoors in the Florida sun or under the stars are heavenly!) are only steps away from the sliding glass doors in each bedroom. Challenge your friends to a game of billiards on the outdoor pool table, cook on the gas grill and eat a relaxing dinner on the patio while you enjoy the breeze through the palm trees.
There is no swimming or fishing permitted in our relaxing Koi pond filled by an 8 foot high waterfall; affectionately named "Rejuvenation Falls" and the "Healing Pond" - they will melt your stress away! And don't forget to enjoy the outdoor fire pit on a cool winter night; sit by the fire and enjoy the calming sounds of the waterfall all at once.
Be sure to eat at least one breakfast or lunch on the "Tree House" deck. A short trip up the stairs brings you onto a deck snuggled into a large oak tree; you'll feel like you're in a tree house! Hot summers catch some nice cool breezes on the deck, shaded in oak leaves with a nice view of the Koi pond.
Park two+ cars in the large garage; there is also room on the 1 acre property to park boats, RVs and trailers without restriction. It is centrally located so that it is a wonderful "hub" where you can visit one-tank-trip destinations, or take a few days to explore further down either coast of Florida, being only a mile from I-75 and less than a mile from I-4, you can travel virtually anywhere in the state with ease. Your pets will not have to be kenneled, as they will have the luxury of pet doors and a 1 acre fully fenced yard.
If you enjoy fishing, boating, water skiing and swimming, lovely Lake Thonotosassa is only a 5 minute drive the causeway beaches are only 20 minutes away and some of the best sandy beaches in the world (Clearwater beach) are just under an hour drive! Take a nice afternoon walk, or a drive a few blocks to the famous Cracker Barrel restaurant, located near the Flying J Travel Plaza (get gas before every trip, it has one of the lowest prices in town) and the number-one rated Lazy Days RV Park.

What a wonderful pet-friendly home. It was so convient being able to take my dog on holiday. Nice size rooms and plenty of area to let her burn off some energy. We love our 4 legged kids soooo much; and we found a beautiful pet friendly home for them and the family. We had a great time in Tampa and had a wonderful place for all to enjoy !! We have just returned from spending a month in your vacation home and had a wonderful time. Your pet friendly home was absolutely perfect for us, giving "our boys" lots of fenced yard to roam without us having any worry. Mango Dog Park, which we visited every day, was just the icing on the cake! The house was perfectly situated as a base for visiting tourist attractions but it was also very relaxing just to sit beside the Koi pond or in the hot tub and soak up the beautiful sun. Just wanted to let you know that my girls and I had a GREAT time staying at your home in Tampa. Thank you for sending the deposit back so quickly... We can't wait to head back South! Wow! We highly recommend this vacation home! It sure beats staying in a hotel. We especially like having LOTS of room and LOTS of privacy; and since it is located so close to both I-4 and I-75, it is easy to get to wherever we want to visit. Shopping is convenient, also. About the owner: We are Joe, Brandy and "Bear Puppy" and we live in Florida and Arizona. Our love for nature, animals, clean water and the luxuries of life like the hot tub, outdoor shower, outdoor pool table and big screen TV help us enjoy every minute at the FL Vacation Home. We have put our heart and soul into its design and unique qualities. We hope you love it as much as we do :).
Why the Owner Chose Tampa:
We purchased this property by placing a bid on a foreclosure advertisement in the paper (back in 1993, before foreclosures were popular). At that time it was a small ranch house, just over 1,000 sq. ft. (we've more than doubled the square footage since then). But the oak trees were beautiful on the acre lot, and the water-well dipped into the Zephyrhills spring water aquifer, so there is spring water from the tap. We couldn't resist!
The other thing we really liked about the property is location, location, location! It is in a rural area, yet it is 2 minutes to the highway. We even give you the back-road directions to Busch Gardens (just 15 minutes away, 20 minutes on the highway) - and Disney is just 45 minutes away. If you want to go to the beach, just drive across the beautiful causeway and you can experience sandy white beaches in less than an hour. Or swim or boat at Lake Thonotosassa, just 5 minutes away.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
After we purchased in 1993, over the next 15 years we gutted the house and built it to suit our needs with two over-sized bedrooms and bathrooms, vaulted ceilings and skylights with tile, marble and granite everywhere. The 6,500 gallon Koi pond in the backyard is completely home-made and we love how relaxing it is. It's really great to share our home with people who will enjoy it as much as we do. It's also wonderful to hear stories about the dogs enjoying the acre yard, doggie doors and Koi pond.
We miss it when we're not there, but we are so glad that others can enjoy it too!
