A Most Excellent Condo in Kuhio Shores

We stayed in this beautiful condo for a week in August and had a wonderful time. This condo has one of the best views in Kuhio Shores. It is a corner unit which allows a great, tropical breeze to enter the condo. There is no need for air conditioning. This condo is very clean, well equipped and is decorated with beautiful art. When you sit in the living room it feels like you are on a ship out at sea. The ocean is that close. The owner is very helpful. We can not say enough good things about this place. It was a truly wonderful stay. We hope to return. Vera and Michael

We really enjoyed our stay at Kuhio Shores! The condo is just as pictured and the views are incredible. We had beautiful sunset AND sunrise views every day (Nov.) The location is very convenient to Poipu, just a short drive to the beach. The Beach House restaurant is next door, you can enjoy their tiki torches at night, but the sky is nice and dark for stars. Next to the restaurant is a great snorkeling spot. Two notes- the master bedroom has a waterbed, very comfortable. And there isn't an internet jack, but while we were there someone in the bldg had an unsecured wireless network (thanks!) Overall rating- excellent!

We spent two incredible weeks here in 2008 and have looked forward to returning ever since! This is a wonderful place for quiet ocean-lovers. Spend winter mornings watching turtles and whales...watch surfers from the lanai...snorkel every afternoon...whet your appetite at sunset with the Beach House right below. The condo itself is quiet and very comfortable, with all the amenities we needed for a lovely vacation. The owner made us feel very welcome, and the location could not be better.

We stayed here for the last two weeks of Feb '09, and had a wonderful time. The condo is very quiet and private, and the views were outstanding, as we watched every sunset (only two cloudy days) from the lanai. From that vantage point, we also watched whales spouting, breeching, tail slapping, and just floating everyday. On two days, we had them just outside the breakers shown in some of the pictures, directly out in front of the complex. I snorkeled everyday, and viewed many types of marine life, that I hadn't seen in my 20+ trips to Hawaii. Green sea turtles, octopus, monk seals were my companions on several of my outings at the beach directly west of Kuhio Shores. We would definitely rent this unit again. This was not a paid commentary!!

We stayed at this wonderful place the last week of January, 2009. The photos are accurate and, if anything, don't do the view justice. The unit is perched at the edge of the ocean with the surfers, turtles and whales right outside your lanai. At the same time, you won't feel exposed to other guests as the unit is on the third floor. It was a quiet and wonderful retreat. The owner is responsive and cordial.
