We traveled with another family that we have vacationed with many times before. This 3 story condo was perfect for our needs. Each family had two bedrooms and a full bath to themselves. The entry level had plenty of space for relaxing and a good size kitchen for preping meals. We stayed downstairs in the basement level. The kids stayed in this room that was kind of a walk through room to get to the next bedroom where we slept. The laundry area was in this room with us, but we didnt mind. If privacy is a hang up, you may not like the downstairs. We would head out to the park early in the morning, eat the lunches we prepared at the condo, and stay in the park all day. Leave the park near dusk and hit one of the many restaurants in West. West Yellowstone was the perfect place to stay for a family on a budget. We were able to get groceries for our breakfasts and lunches, which gave us the opportunity to stay in the park longer and still be able to afford to go out for dinner every night. West Yellowstone was the best place to enter the park from because the west gate gets you right into the middle of the park so quickly. We hit the south loop the first day, and the north loop the next. If we had stayed north or south of the park, we would have wasted alot more time driving. If we ever go back we will definately stay here again! I have already recommended this place to friends and family. Even if this condo does not meet your needs, you should stay in West! This condo is on the opposite end of town from the gate and is still only blocks from the gate, thats how small the town is. The town is great, nice and clean, nice people, amazing views, it was perfect. Even when it snowed, the streets were plowed and ready very early. We left the condo between 8:30 and 9am every morning and the streets were always already done.
Owner response:Thank you very much, Gary, for your complimentary remarks regading your stay with us last summer. It was pleasure having your family as our guests and appreciate your extra care in taking care of the unit. Hope to see you in the future. Jack Coffin

The good, the bad, and the ugly? Nope, no bad or ugly. This is a wonderful property that my family has rented 14 years in a row. March doesn't come often enough for our crew of mountain climbers. Theres plenty of room to park our rather large sled trailers. The owners and staff treat us like family. In fact, when people ask me where we stay in West Yellowstone, I say "we have a condo, that freinds of ours own". The snow trail is across the street and the night life is in walking distance for the youngsters. One of the things that impresses me is the owners keep reinvesting their money in this property, much like you do in your own house. I'm sure they take a lot of pride in it.
Owner response:Dave has been a valued customer for many years and truly appreciate his utmost care and consideration shown in leaving the facility exceptionally clean and well cared for. It is a pleasure having guests like that.

We stayed at the condo Dec.27 2010 - Jan.2 2011. The condo was great. There were 6 people in our party and everyone enjoyed there time. It was a great location for snowmobiling in and out. The artwork was cool and every bed had a nice quilt. Lots of extra blankets. It was perfect for 6 people. Jack called to make sure all was good and to see if we needed anything. There were lots of spices and some basics in the cabinet above the sink. We will be booking again for next year.

Clean and large unit that served our purpose well. We were there for 7-nights and we spent a lot of our time in the park (it was only a few blocks from our unit to the west gate). Was about 2 hours to Tetons. Also was walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in W. Yellowstone which were a lot of fun. Was nice to come home to large condo each night to wind down the day and look at pictures, etc. We cooked every breakfast and dinner in and had a nice size kitchen with all the pots and pans you would ever need. We had 6 adults and one toddler and even had our toddler in her own room downstairs next to us. (Two bdr upstairs and 2 downstairs with the main living and kitchen on the middle floor). One bathroom downstairs and one upstairs (unit had 3 floors), so more than one person could shower at same time. Unit also had DirectTV and free internet connection, so I was able to do a little work a couple of the nights. Liked that it was on the edge of town (woods across the street) and had a big open field just a little ways down to watch the sunset over the mountain range. Also was close to a couple of nice city trails without ever having to drive into the park. Would defintely stay there again if in W. Yellowstone. Owner also provided a toddler bed/pack-in-play for us which was nice since we were traveling from far away. We have found as a family that renting multi-room condos save us money and give more of a homey family feel on these kind of trips. If you fish, take your fly-rod and get a temp fishing license as the rivers are very close by. Check out the chamber of commerce in W Yellowstone when you first arrive as they offer a 30 minute presentation in the morning on how to best see the park in just a few day and have tons of information about things to do in the area. As with any condo that you rent from an individual over the internet, just make sure you print and keep directions and your rental agreement handy, so if there are any questions you'll have it to reference when traveling. Just wish the place was closer and we'd go regularly. Thanks for a great stay!

The unit was older, but clean, and tidy. 2 BR & BA upstairs and 2 BR & BA down in basement with laundry. The vent for dryer was not great so window in basement had to stay open to clear the air. Good privacy upstairs but not in basement. TV's with satalite in all BR and living room. Living room was small and TV in Living room was also small. We were told unit could sleep 10 but sleeping 6 was really what it would hold - kitchen table would only allow 7 max. Kitchen set up was fine, but with multiple people using had to play hide and seek for items. Location in West Yellowstone was super - July 4th fireworks were right out front door. We had great week and would come back to this unit again. Could walk to town or drive and location at end of town was great
