Lilac Haven is an Early American, Post and Beam Farmhouse that dates back to 1750. Our location is in the heart of all the excitement of the beach area, yet remains private and secluded as it is nestled back from the main road and tucked in among glorious flower gardens.
While relaxing on the private farmer's porch having early morning coffee you can listen to the birds singing in the trees and enjoy the gorgeous butterflies as they meander throughout the garden. The serenity and peacefulness of the area allows you to plan your day for a trip to the beach (about a 3 minute walk), hiking, golfing, antiquing, or shopping at nearby outlet malls. There are wonderful restaurants that you can walk to in the village with a wide variety of choices from lobster to pizza.
In the evenings you can walk to the bandstand and listen to the entertainment that changes each night. You can relax on the grass with an ice-cream or delicious home-made candy & fudge from several of the wonderful shops. The beach area caters to families, yet also respects the privacy of those who want just romantic time to themselves!
There are three bedrooms. On the first floor is the Master Bedroom/bathroom, a sleep sofa is in the living room, and on the second floor there are two bedrooms - twin beds in one room and 2 double beds in the other bedroom, they both share a full bathroom.
By law there is a 7% Maine Sales Tax which is not included in the cost of weekly rental.

My husband and I, along with a few family members from Europe, stayed in this lovely cottage in August last year. It's the quintessential Maine experience! Very clean and perfectly located for day trips - but the place was so relaxing - we didn't want to leave!!
