The picturesque harbor town of Christiansted, only one and a half miles away, offers excellent dining and shopping. Beautiful sandy Shoys beach is minutes walk from the house and 18-hole golf and tennis are available next door at the Buccaneer Hotel, one of the great resorts of the Caribbean. Also, the 18-hole championship Robert Trent Jones Golf Course, CARAMBOLA, is quite the challenge!

January 2010 visit - "I hated leaving the villa thinking I might never return to it. From the moment I stepped into the villa, I felt warmly enveloped and safe and so very at home and everyone else felt the same way, and commented on the warmth and peaceful energy of the place. You really managed to hit such a fine balance in creating a place that feels like a home and yet we did not feel like we were intruding. We absolutely loved the layout of the house, the wood ceilings and the warm colors on the walls, all the open windows and doors that let the light and air in. The bathrooms had that same wonderful open feeling, where you can hear the wind and trees rustling while you enjoy a warm shower. Fabulous...sigh..."

February 2005 "Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. We enjoyed the pool and the views and the peaceful breezes on the deck at "Happy Hour". Shoys beach was a perfect beach for the boys and us to body surf, kick back and test the new snorkel masks. It is a very clean beach, too.

April 2005 "It felt as if one of the finer New Mexico homes from the foothills of the Sandias was placed in a sunny spot along the bay. We all were so comfortable here and felt relaxed and invigorated by the art and sensuous atmosphere."

March 2005 " Thank you so much for letting us stay in your house. It's beautiful. We especially loved the pool. Those first morning swims were fantastic. We loved to sit out at night and look at the stars. the BBQing was delightful! It was the perfect way to start & end spring break!
