A beautiful and well furnished condo! Really appreciated the many "extras" included (hairdryer, appliances, pots, pans, beach towels, etc.). Thank you for providing a wonderful place for us to relax and enjoy our vacation. You were great to work with and we thank you for the opportunity to stay in your home. Hope to see you again next year!

The pics and video do not do justice for this great condo! It is very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The pool is really nice but my family enjoyed the lagoon the most. They had a blast snorkeling. The complex is very secure and family-friendly. We really enjoyed our vacation - thanks George!

This was the most wonderful vacation accommodation we have ever had. Absolutely everything you could think of - George has provided - even spices and some basic condiments. It was completely remodeled and everything is new and very clean. George was wonderful to work with and gave very detailed information about the use of the condo. He made some recommendations that were on spot. I have told everyone I work with about this condo and hope they will try it for themselves.
Owner response:Thanks so much for staying in our home and taking such good care of it. George

Just enjoyed a wonderful 4 week stay in your ooh so comfortable, updated condo. It was all that was advertised and MORE! Family and friends were able to visit and enjoy because of the spaciousness and remarked that the exterior and interior amenities were superior. We have all agreed that this is "Our New American Caribbean" and will return next year for more fun and sun.
Owner response:Thank you Karen. Your snowbird friends already miss you and are looking forward to your visit next year. It was wonderful having you stay in our home. You will see new SOLID doors on your next trip and improvements in the guest bathroom.

My husband and I and our 2 boys (4 & 6) loved staying at Kawama Tower. It had all the amenities of a Resort, but none of the crowds. Wherever we went we were usually the only people there. If there were others, it was a very small group of kind, friendly people who weren't there long. We loved seeing all the fish in the lagoon. The boys loved playing with the minnows and on the small beach area of the lagoon. We also loved the views from the jetty and we were grateful the owner of the condo had 2 fishing poles in the unit we were able to try out. We also loved the catching hermit crabs in the beach area of the ocean and playing tennis. We went to Pennicamp park and down to the Turtle Hospital in Marathon, but we could have spent everyday of our 7 day stay right there in Kawama and never have gotten bored. The condo was beautiful and I was so surprised by how updated and spacious it felt. For the great price I wasn't expecting it to be so wonderful! I feel like the price is excellent!!!! If you love the beauty of nature and want to get away from the crowds, you definitely need to come here! We cannot wait to come back!

This condo is prefect!! George has totally redone the unit, is like a model. Everything you want is right there. If not George is only a call or email away and he will make sure your stay is complete. Close to the park and places to eat yet off the beaten path so you feel you are in your own little paradise. Check out the Pilot House, the glass floor is great. Our little one loved feeding the fish.

My family and I spent a weekend at this condo and had a wonderful time. The condo had everything we needed and looks exactly as shown in the pictures. The owner was a pleasure to deal with and easy to contact. There are many good local restaraunts to choose from in the area plus there's a Publix close by. My family and I look forward to going back soon.

My husband and I vacationed without our kids for the first time ever! This condo was more than what we needed. It was clean and dealing with the owner was easy. The pool is perfect. We were able to enjoy some amazing dinners at local restaurants, snorkel the beautiful reef, and enjoy the state park. This is a great condo with friendly people and you won't find a better price! Thanks again!

Thanks George for a great start to our American vacation. Your Condo was lovely, Ideally situation for the area, we made it down to Key West one day. Recommended restaurant - the glass bottom restaurant/the pilot house., Fantastic food. Manty others ideal too,. The property was very clean, you have a good cleaning team on board there. Just wish our stay had been longer. All in all, a top recommendation. Carol & Jim, Sue & Mike

the condo was excell. Clean and large. Stove and microwave are original but both worked. Location is good. We did have a problem with one key until we figured out the phone by the elevator . Still someone needed to be there to let you in. One key is not enough.
Owner response:Thank you for the review. I wish you had called me about the key problem. I will from now on make clear which of the two keys are for the elevator.

The only negative is the picture on the website is not the room you'll get. Our 1br suite was not updated, very old stove & mic. And did not have bedding for sleeper sofa. We called the office and gave us some. Overall, really worth the money, clean, safe, nice pool. I would stay here again.
Owner response:I am sorry you were not totally happy I wished you had contacted me while you were there. The pictures are recent and accurate and yes the stove is not new I have no idea what office you contacted there is front desk as this is not a resort There is a guard house We keep several sets of linen that we purchase new each year George

My wife and I stayed at this condo in May, 2010 and everything was very clean and well kept. Also, the whole place has been given a new and modern look and the new pool was just perfect! This seemed to be the best location for our stay in Key Largo, because even tho we ventured all the way to Key West and Fort Lauderdale, the places we liked best were right around the area of the condo! I also talked with the owner on several occasions, and it was just a pleasure to to talk with him. He offered several good tips on dining and local facts along with a folder, at the condo, of several great places to go for almost everything. We are planning to stay again in the near future. This place was a 10+ in my book!

We stayed at this aparment in May 2010. It was very spacious, clean and well presented. Our daughter is in a wheelchair and it was great to have so much space for her to get around. The bathroom is a little bit tight for a wheelchair user, but if you can transfer, it's fine. Generally, access was no problem ,but on the night we arrived, the guard on the gate said he wasn't expecting us! Got it sorted pretty quickly tho so not a problem. One of the lifts was also out of action when we arrived but there is a second one at the other side of the building so again, no problem. The community was generally fairly quiet and seemed to be occupied by mainly "older" residents. we didn't see many young families around, but havig said that, we were out most of the day anyway!. Overall - the apartment is excellent value for money and very pleasantly located.

We had a wonderful time! It was very quiet, even though it's right next to the hustle and bustle of Key Largo. The highlight of our trip was swimming with the dolphins at Dolphins Plus, only about 1/2 mile away. The swimming pools at Kawama were beautiful, warm, and clean! We definitely had everything we needed. George was great about recommending places to eat and things to do in the area. The guest book signed by other guests also has lots of recommendations.

I rented from George over Spring Break. This was my 1st time using VRBO and it was a positive experience. I took care of my rental fee and security deposit through my Paypal account. My security deposit was returned via Paypal the same day as my departure after inspection by the cleaning crew as promised. Kawama is not a brand new complex but is very well maintain with crews out each day keeping up the grounds. This condo has a very open floor plan with bright, beachy colors and feel. It had everything we needed. I am used to picking up things like paper towels, detergent, trash bags, etc when renting but this condo had all the essentials. The Tower pool is a nice size and never was crowded. Kawama has a beach that is maybe 100 yards from the condo. We jumped right in and went snorkeling around the Pier/Jetty and saw all types of marine life. The ocean was surprisingly warm. This is a nice, simple option versus going to Pennekamp Park for snorkeling. Also within walking distance to plenty of restaurants (1 mi) and CVS/Walgreens. Thought I'd share my experience, so there you have it.
