  We headed back to Aquatika this winter and had another wonderful time. We enjoyed it fully, and we plan on going back again. The weather was perfect, the pools were awesome, the hot tub was amazing, and the convience of it all was amazing. WiFi connection was too slow to really work from. But, overall we loved it as much as our first trip two years ago.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

  great place to stay the only thing it needs is central ac it only has ac in the bedrooms but other than that the apt has everything it really makes u feel like home. had a wonderful time with my family.

  La pasamos muy bien en este apartamento, tiene de todo. Un fin de semana de relajación total junto a familiares y amigos. Lo recomiendo 100%. Sería magnífico con una consola de aire acondicionado adicional en la sala. Pero muy bueno excelente, frente a la piscina principal....creo que vuelvo pronto!!

We will take into account your recommendation for improvement, even though the unit has 3 ceiling fans in the open area from the kitchen to the living room that provide good fresh air ventilation, and allow for the screen windows and doors to remain open and the nice afternoon breeze to sweep thru the unit. As you mention, the location and furnishings in our unit are two of its biggest assets. You having a great vacation at our unit is our biggest satisfaction!

  My family and I recently finished our trip to Puerto Rico and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Aquatika resort. The resort itself is very beautiful and quiet. There is plenty to do right at the resort for young and old. From the several different pools and playgrounds, to tennis and basketball courts and minigolf. We were traveling with our three teenage children and they kept as busy as they wanted to especially enjoying the beach and pools. One of the reasons I chose this particular condo was from the reviews that I had read prior to booking. The property owner Bernie is very professional and really does go above and beyond to make you feel welcome; picking us up at our car rental, taking us to the grocery store and giving us some helpful ideas and directions to local attractions. He also provides some extras like boogie boards, beach toys, basketball, golf clubs for minigolf and a cooler. I also thought the condo itself was in a nice location. I would definitely recommend this condo and resort area without hesitation. We went out to visit places like Old San Juan, Fajardo and the rainforest, all of which you will need a car to get to. We also sampled some local cuisine at the Kiosks located near Luquilla which we all liked. All in all, we had a very nice time.

  Great way to beat the winter blues. Our kids are young and therefore loved the pools (the one outside the unit is the BEST and the river pool), playgrounds, miniture golf, and beach. The weather was beautiful and the one rainy day was perfect for an excursion into the rainforest. A bit of a hike to find a good restaurant, but we weren't really looking for that scene. The beach is small, a little glass, but we generally had it all to ourselves. Also nearby to several excellent golf courses. Great setting, nice people, all around good vacation spot.

  Our beautiful apartment was literally steps away from the main pool. It was so easy for some to be inside or on the porch and some of us to be at the pool because we were all so close by each other. The pool and weather were wonderful. Plenty of kids to keep my kids busy and entertained. The apartment was beautiful and had all the amenities and more. The big screen TV was wonderful to watch movies on at night. We will be back for sure.

  This was a fabulous spot for our family vacation. The owners were tremendously gracious and helpful and the unit was very clean. The complex is beautifully landscaped and maintained and all those pools and the water slide are really there, and really fun. One of the things I appreciated most about the spot was was its combination of being a peaceful place were we could spend a day at the pool and ocean, while at the same time being a short distance from the landmarks we wanted to see: old San Juan, the rain forest, and the bioluminescent bay in Fajardo. The short drive from Aquatika to the highway and the drive to San Juan along the coast are really beautiful.

  As the other reviewer mentioned, Bernie was great to work with. He went above and beyond, meeting us at the airport, leading us to the condo, showing us where the grocery store was, giving us a tour of the complex. He was super! I would work with him again. The unit is furnished very nicely with great paintings, furniture, wine fridge, great tv/dvd, bedding and more. It surpassed our expectations and we have traveled a lot. The complex is beautiful with great pools, playgrounds and landscaping. We had the place almost all to ourselves mid-week. The largest of the pools, which is more like a waterpark is right in front of this unit which is very convenient! It had some nice shallow areas for our younger children, but deeper areas and a waterslide for older kids. The unit and balcony are ground floor level. The beach did have glass and it was disappointing, but we put our watershoes on and played down there a bit anyway. Bernie provided a lot of added extras like boogie boards, snorkel equipment, cooler, sand toys, etc. This was awesome! We couldn't have packed all of those things! There is not nightlife within walking distance, but we had kids with us, so who can go out? The complex seemed quite secure. There are cheaper places nearby that are not as nice and more expensive places with nicer beaches. This was a great option for us because we wanted be near all of these attractions: Luquillo beach, El Yunque, Las Casbezas Nature Preserve, Vieques, and Hacienda Carabali. We loved the condo and the complex, had a great time and met nice people. Also, we had a nice view of the mountain with the rainforest, but we were far enough away that it wasn't rainy where we were. Great weather! It was much more rainy, colder and cloudy farther up the foothills.

  We found the condo unit to be very comfortable, clean, well appointed and maintained. The owner was very professional, great to work with, and helpful during the reservation process. He was very thorough in helping us make arrangements, and even helped when I was unable to find an available rental car. The condo complex was new, with plenty of things to offer. The swimming pools were clean, easily accessible and offered variety for both kids and adults. The complex is ideal for people looking for relaxing time with family. It is not close to nightlife, restaurants, and you will need to have a car to go to/ from for supplies, groceries etc. The beach was disappointing. We found there to be a lot of glass etc. washing up, and the beach not very usable. It may have been an anomaly based on the time of the year, or weather conditions at the time. There are plenty of great beaches a short drive away however.

I am sorry about the beach conditions during your visit, but ocean conditions are normally worse around the end of the year and they were particularly bad during those dates due to cold fronts from the north. They improve during the first months of the year, so you might want to take that into account when you plan future visits to the island.
