It is a brand new custom home located in the peaceful and secluded East Meadows subdivision of Kirkwood California. It is located approximately 3 minutes from the Kirkwood Village and ski lifts. Kirkwood provides regular and free shuttle service to and from the East Meadows subdivision. For cross country ski enthusiasts, the home has direct access to the Kirkwood Meadow cross county ski trail and Kirkwood's 80 kilometer groomed trail system.
The home is situated on a half acre lot and adjacent to the Kirkwood Meadow. There is plenty of room for building sled runs and snowmen or having a snow ball fight.
The home is 3,600 square feet and was designed to maximize views of mountain peaks and take advantage of solar exposure. There are many places to sit in the house, get warm, and take in the amazing views.

We'd definitely stay here again! Our accommodations were perfect in every way. It was wonderful to relax next to a warm fire while enjoying the many breath taking views through the panoramic windows. We enjoyed the romantic indoor Jacuzzi bath tub in the upstairs master bedroom and the free WiFi to check the snow conditions. One night we relaxed by having a family “movie night” thanks to the large screen T.V. The spacious and well equipped kitchen made cooking all our meals easy and fun. My children loved sledding and making snowmen in the backyard. The owners were really friendly and easy to deal with. The whole place was super clean, well furnished and easy to use. I highly recommend it.

The house is very spacious and comfortable. It's very clean and modern with most amenities. A very well appointed kitchen makes cooking meals a joy! The layout also provides privacy for multiple families. The kids loved having a room on the ground floor with double bunk-beds.

This is a wonderful house. 3 bedrooms each with their own bathroom and a bunk room with bunk beds and space for air mattresses. We had 6 adults and 6 children and never felt crowded. Nice furnishings and high quality kitchenware. I highly recommended this home for rental.

Kirkwood has always been one our favorite places to go, but staying at this east meadows ski chalet has transformed my experience. It's spacious rooms and majestic views as well as it's modern design and amenities complimented the awesome time we had on the slopes with our family. It was the perfect place to relax after a hard day of riding on the mountain. We will be making a reservation here for sure when planning our next trip up, Thanks!
