  I travelled with my husband and 2 sons(age 13 & 9yrs). This was our 4th stay in Orlando. The location was superb with Disney parks 15mins away, Universal 25mins. Champions Gate is a gated community and having previously felt vulnerable whilst staying in other areas of Orlando, this time we felt completely safe and at ease with our surroundings. It was good to know there were neighbours nearby in the event of an emergency. The villa is very private and it is worth paying for the pool heating (which actually worked!) as the boys were in it morning,noon and night! Internally the rooms are large and spacious and we wanted for nothing in terms of facilities. I used the laundry several times with ease and the boys loved the games room. It was used every day. The kingsize bed in the master bedroom was amazingly comfortable that you fell asleep the minute your head hit the pillow. The boys shared one of the twin rooms and said their beds were comfy too although a bit creaky! We used the Publix supermarket at Champions Gate several times (there is a post box here if you want to send your postcards) and the pizzeria along from it had lovely pizzas although expect a long wait on a saturday evening for your food! All in all , we had a great time at Florida Manor and would highly recommend it for a family holiday. The only downside was that everywhere in Orlando was extremely busy as we visited over Easter, spring break. Would probably avoid travelling at that time of year again. Happy Holidays!!

  Staying at the Florida Manor was an absolute pleasure. Steve and Janet are extremely professional but also very friendly and helpful, recommending car hire companies and answering all my stupid questions! Booking was really smooth and both Steve and Janet were easy to deal with. Once booking was complete and paid for, they provided us with extensive information on how to get to the villa, as well as other information. Once we arrived at Orlando airport we picked up our hire car (booked with help from the owners!), and drove the relatively short distance to the villa. The neighbourhood is easy to get to, and has good supermarkets within short driving distance, so on the drive through Championsgate, we picked up some essentials from the large Publix supermarket. The villa's neighbourhood is really clean and pleasant, and we found absolutely no faults with the villa itself. The garden was well maintained and pretty, and the security system was easy to use (all information pertaining to security was sent over to us well in advance). I was immediately impressed with the size and layout of the villa, the spacious living area has a large television, comfortable sofa and 2 dining areas, one smaller one which we used for breakfast, and a larger one which would have been great for dinner had we been in in the evening to make use of it. The kitchen was spotless and well laid out, and we enjoyed cooking breakfast every day. There is a dishwasher and also a large fridge/freezer which we took advantage of as well. We also used the washing machine to wash half of the clothes we brought with us, which meant that we could pack a little lighter. The games room was a really cool touch and would be great for those with children (or big children like us!), we played pool at least once a day, and the space theme is really fitting, especially as Kennedy Space Centre is relatively close! We took advantage of the pool at least once a day, and despite it being mid January (and having left snow on the ground in England!) it was really nice to soak in the hot tub and do some lengths in the pool. Personally though I was most impressed with the bedrooms. There were 4 of us but the villa could easily accommodate more. The bedrooms were large and the beds comfortable, the bathrooms were clean and bright, ours had a bath and a shower, and unusually (?) had two sinks which meant less stress! Free wifi and the free calls to the UK meant that we had peace of mind. Would book again!

  My husband and I stayed at the Florida manor for 3 weeks in late Jan-early Feb 2013. We loved it! We spent the first two weeks there alone, playing golf and shopping. There are a lot of golf courses in the area and we played 5 of them. Our daughter, her husband and their two children (4 and 5) joined us for the last week. The house suited our three generations perfectly. there was a Master suite, with good sized bedroom, nice closet and large bathroom on one side of the house. On the other was a second master bedroom with en suite, and two other bedrooms and a hall bath. There was a heated pool (you pay extra for the heating and in Jan/Feb this is well worth it!!) and a jacuzzi on the terrace. The only thing the house really lacks is a barbecue, but it seems you can rent one if you wish (I could not get the rental company to return my call though!!) The house is in a quiet neighbourhood, gated community and very convenient to the little shopping centre at Championsgate. Takes about 5 mins to drive there and there are several nice golf courses within 5-20 mins drive. It also takes about 20mins to get to DisneyWorld and just a little more to SeaWorld. The house is well kept up, was very clean when we got there, and my only other criticsm aside from lack of BBQ is that while there are oodles of dishes, glasses etc (and thoughtfully plastic ones for the pool area!) the pots and pans could have been a little better. But in a rental this is hard to do - as I have found out many times in the past. The house has heat and AC - both of which we needed from time to time. There is a washer and dryer which is super for a family. It was excellent value for money in every respect. I should also mention a rather nice games room which came in handy on our one really cold day!! I would recommend this house without hesitation. The owner is very responsive and easy to deal with the the Management company's representative, Sally, was very helpful. Overall an excellent experience and we were all sad to leave...

  We stayed at this villa in early January. The booking process was very easy, we did it all by email, but the owners are also easily contactable by telephone. We really liked the location of the villa, in the Champion’s Gate area, far enough away from the hustle and bustle, yet a quick zip up the Interstate and you’re at the Theme Parks. The position of the villa is lovely, with a south facing, and very private pool which gets the sun all day (we consider this a must in the winter) , but also with a shaded lanai, when you need to escape the heat in the summer. The villa is nicely laid out and has a cosy, homely feel to it, especially in the lounge area, with plenty of comfy seating for family members to gather. The large triple glazed doors make it light and bright. It is extremely well equipped and there was nothing we found lacking. The rooms are all a good size, especially noticeable in the twin bedrooms, which we have sometimes found to be small in other villas and the second master suite with it’s huge bathroom was very useful when trying to get teenage girls out in a morning! The Games room is well equipped, with a top quality, full sized pool table, table football and air hockey, we all had a lot of fun in there. It is extremely well looked after and is pristinely clean on arrival. We also saw gardeners several times during our stay, and the sub-division is kept immaculate. It is one of few villas we have been back to twice and would not hesitate to book again.

  This villa is outstanding, extremely well equipped all mod cons. Furnished to an extremely high standard. The villa is exactly as pictured and is within a well secured clean gated community. Very close to champions gate and a lot of amenities are within a five minute drive. My family and I had a fabulous time and would highly recommend this to anyone.

  Villa is very spacious and in great location for all attractions. We have visited this area many times and would definately stay at West Haven again. Great for local supermarkets within 5 min drive and also within 5 mins of the interstate 4 which gets you to all the attractions. Quality of furnishings are to a high standard in the villa with plenty of bedding/towels for your stay.

  The house was perfect for our 2 week vacation. After long days at the parks it was perfect to come home and relax in the pool. The location was great. Easy access to all the parks and major roads.

  How nice it was to enter a villa that was exactly how it was described. ‘Wow’ was the first word from the children, they absolutely loved it. Very light and airy and it had everything we needed. There was so much space for the 5 of us and the pool/spa and games room were a big hit! We wish we could have stayed longer, none of us wanted to leave! We will definitely recommend the villa to our friends and family and we’re hoping to go back next year but for a longer holiday as we were very impressed. Even the small touches like the welcome notes in the kitchen and the main bedroom made a big impression. Thank you so much for making our stay so comfortable and relaxing.
