Come and experience the majesty of Lake Tahoe, surrounded by gorgeous mountains,forests, streams. There is so much to do and see here that it is impossible to do it in a week. We have five South Lake Tahoe Rentals to choose from, and all of our homes have either foosball tables or pool tables and hot tubs, plus great locations. The Skyland Retreat is a four-bedroom (4 king-size beds and one sleeper sofa), two-bath home with about 2500 square feet. It is located in Zephyr Cove, Nevada, about 7 miles east of the casinos at the state line, in an area where Bill Harrah, Sammy Davis Jr., and Liza Minelli all enjoyed Tahoe.
The main floor has a huge living room (22-feet by 28-feet) with a beautiful ledgestone corner fireplace, a 35-inch cable TV, and a full-size POOL TABLE.
The kitchen is a large U-shaped gourmet kitchen with center island complete with both a double kitchen sink and a bar sink. It has all new appliances including a glass-top stove and self-cleaning oven, microwave, and an additional two-burner stove top station (close to the dining table). It has unbelievable counter and cabinetry space.
Both the master bedroom and dining room have sliding glass doors which give access to the large upper deck. From there you can see FILTERED VIEWS OF LAKE TAHOE and the huge back yard. The master bedroom has a beautiful traditional feel of Lake Tahoe with real wood paneling in juxtaposition to the elegant cherry bedroom set and brass king-sized bed. It has a 19" cable TV.
Downstairs, there are three additional bedrooms, each with its own king-size bed and 13-inch TV. Wood paneling can be found throughout the house, yet the bedrooms are furnished elegantly. Each of these bedrooms also has a sliding glass door with access out to the large back yard, deck, and the HOT TUB! For entertainment, there is a barbecue, and on the side of the house, a basketball hoop.
This home is situated in the prestigious area of Skyland, which is located in Zephyr Cove, Nevada, about six miles from the casinos. Skyland has its own private beach for the use of its residents and their guests. It is also about a one-mile walk through the National Park along the shore of Lake Tahoe to the historic Zephyr Cove Resort, which has horseback riding, snowmobiling, the M.S. Dixie Paddlewheeler, the Woodwind II catamaran, parasailing, charter sportfishing boats, boat rentals, jet skis, pedal boats, canoes, and kayaks - all for your enjoyment.
