Regal Palms Resort is located in the Southwest section of Orlando, just 15 minutes from Disney and only a couple of minutes from a selection of Restaurants/bars and Shops. Regal Palms offers the facilities you would expect from a 4 star hotel including 24 hour Guest Services with the added benefit of a spacious fully-equipped home.
Our home has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths with 1376 square feet of air-conditioned living area. That is almost 4 times the size of a standard hotel room. The ground floor consists of a covered entrance porch, a fully furnished kitchen and dining area, a great room with a TV & DVD player, a 1/2 bath, and a washer and dryer for laundry.
The second floor has 3 bedroom including the master suite with a king-size bed and walk-in closet. The second and third bedrooms share a separate bathroom. Each is outfitted with 2 twin beds. Perfect for any size family or group. Including the pull-out sofa, there is enough room to sleep 8 people. We even have 3 TVs and a DVD player, making it convenient for everyone to watch their favorite shows.
Located on Miramar Avenue only a few of minutes walk from the pool makes this one of the more desirable locations on the resort. Our townhouse has a more scenic location and is located on a small pond. It is just a few steps out of the first floor sliding glass door and onto the small covered patio and you are at the pond.
During the past year we have made several upgrades to our property. These include a new King bed, TV in 2 of the 3 bed rooms, ceramic tile through out the 1st floor and a patio set for enjoying the pond while drinking a cup of coffee in the AM or enjoying the afternoon sun or evening sunset
While vacationing in our home you will have access to the resort pool facilities, such as the Lazy River, water slide, and hot tub. Inside the Clubhouse you can enjoy the sports bar, games room, Internet cafe, and restaurant. Bring your laptop for free wireless Internet service inside the clubhouse and outside on the patio and pool area.
Enjoy the services of the health/fitness center and beauty spa. Regal Palms Resort provides FREE shuttle service to Walt Disney World and the Magic Kingdom daily. Transportation to other area theme parks and attractions for a fee. Transportation is also available for Orlando International Airport, Sanford Airport, and other points of interest. See the friendly resort staff so that your vacation will be remembered for years to come.
There are several supermarkets, bars & restaurants and shopping malls close at hand. A Publix grocery store, Quiznos and Applebees are within walking distance and several shopping malls are close at hand.
For the golfers, Regal Palms is located adjacent to the wonderful 18 hole, par 72 golf course at Highlands Reserve. This course was designed by Mike Dasher with a mix of pine trees and citrus trees lining the fairways. For those desiring a more famous experience, Greg Norman's Champions Gate golf course is within a 10 minute drive. There are plenty of other options for the golfer including Legends at Orange Lake Resort and Country Club and a more economical option of the Polo Park Golf Course with fees from $35.
