From the moment you enter this home, you'll fall in love with the rustic lodge feel, the incredible view, and the cool mountain air. It's the perfect place to escape summer heat.
In the theme of a Rustic Lodge the house has knotty pine throughout. Mountain decorations are everywhere.
The extra large Dining Room has multiple windows all the way to the two-story peak, allowing both daylight and moonlight to shine in. This room has a table to seat eight. It also contains a snack bar with five stools. Four cozy Rockers placed in front of the slider windows have become a favorite place to chat and enjoy the view of the lake.
The Living Room boasts a Huge sofa centered around a gigantic fireplace. This room has a second dining table great for meals or puzzles or family games. Three more cozy Rockers are placed looking out at the beautiful nature scenery.
The Kitchen has granite and stainless throughout. Make the family's favorite meals or at least cookies. A cozy built-in nook holds six people easily for a quaint breakfast, a snack or it's a fantastic puzzle spot.
The Loft has a ping pong/pool table. It's time to see who really is the best player in the family! Check out the view of the lake from this room. The Loft also has a double futon, and a day bed.... Oh, and a rocker !
Outside is one of our favorite places to be.
The covered Patio has a large table plus a picnic table making lots of room for everybody. There are numerous gathering chairs to sit and talk or just relax and watch the hummingbirds in the garden.
The Middle Deck is built nestled between two huge trees and contains benches and a small fireplace. It boasts a view of the yard below and the lake. The Lower Deck has two comfy Adirondack chairs plus a swing allowing you to be closer to the lake activities.
Look at the photos to see the incredible yard with the picnic area, horseshoes, volleyball, badminton, and of course the lake. Activities include fishing, swimming and enjoying the slide on the dock. The canoe lives there too. Have fun in our cove or rent a boat and explore the 26 mile shoreline of Lake Glenville. Numerous waterfalls flow right into this lake. Grab that favorite book and lounge in the hammock. Oops, almost forgot to mention the creek, the pond, and the little bridge that crosses it to discover numerous paths and trails. Don't forget the marshmallows when you enjoy the campfire in the evening.
After all the fun, a wonderful night's sleep awaits you in any of the three bedrooms. The Master suite has a king bed and a rocker recliner love seat placed in front of the bay windows for the view of the garden and the lake. A TV is located behind the door. The Master Bath has a jetted bath tub to soothe the muscles after a day of play.
The Bay room upstairs has an incredible view out it's bay window. This room also has a king bed and shares the hall bathroom with the Bunk Room and Loft.
The Bunk Room holds a set of bunks plus a trundle bed that acts as two twins or placed together for a king size.
Keep the windows open and breathe the fresh mountain air all night long.
