Hello, Our stay on the Nth Shore was fantastic and the house we rented from you was unreal. My family very much enjoyed the house and its location. The security was an added bonus and we all felt very safe in the surroundings. We all got some nice waves and wished we stayed longer. We have the travel bug and hope to come to Hawaii in two years time. Thank you once again. VaughanyDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

My family and I stayed at this beautiful house in January 2013. The house was located in the perfect spot for us, as my husband, son and nephew all surf. The house was fitted with modern appliances and everything you need to feel right at home. It also has 2 bathrooms which was great with 5 people in the house. The deck out the back is perfect for evening meals and a late afternoon read of a book. The viewing deck was great for the surf check, watching the whales pass by and of course those beautiful sunsets. The house is in such a great position, we hired bikes, which meant we could ride up to Sunset beach. We rode to Foodland for our daily groceries, and to Sharks Bay for the snorkelling. Haleiwa town is only a short drive away, where you'll find good restaurants. There's also some great surf shops and some home wares shops to browse in. As we are from Australia, its sometimes difficult to know what and where you are heading but we had great help from 'Bitsy', she answered all my questions. We would recommend this house to anyone who is looking for a home away from home. We'd love to come back one.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children.

This rental was exactly what we were hoping for and more! Directly on the beach with beach access and great views from the porch and a deck closer to the water. The house was cozy and very comfortable, but we spent most of our time outside and this location in the North Shore was perfect. The beach seemed private with how empty it was at all times. And yet we could walk 10 minutes to Shark's Cove for snorkeling. We would visit this house every single year if possible and really have no need to look elsewhere. It was a perfect vacation and we were so sad to leave "our" little house! Almost all of my vacation memories will be in someway related to the house. We had coffee every morning on the deck over the water, walked the beach every morning, ate outside on the porch for dinner (homemade BBQ surf-n-turf) every night and when we ventured to visit other areas of the island we were always in a hurry to get back to "our" house and "our" beach. I'm so glad we found this place!! Thank you BitsyRecommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Gorgeous Beach Bungalow Next to Pipeline

The pictures do NOT do this place justice. This beach bungalow was one of the best properties I've ever stayed in. It was immaculate, updated with gorgeous wood and tile flooring, modern kitchen appliances and bathrooms, and featured beachy yet well appointed furniture. It was like a modern upgrade to a typical beach house. The house itself looks about 1200 square feet but there's a huge deck (where we ate all of our meals) and a sizeable yard for my kids to play beach soccer and volleyball. The view was amazing and probably the best thing about this house. I could see Pipeline (and a surf contest) right from the 2nd deck. Though we were here in the winter (hence waves too big for my kids to swim in) we walked just to the west of the property about 100 feet or so and there were rocks and a little sand dune for my kids to play in. Shark's Cove is just a few blocks away and great for snorkeling. I loved the area. It was about 5 miles from Haleiwa and less than a mile from Waimea, but right next to all the famous surf spots. Foodland and Starbucks was just a few blocks away. Check out Ted's Bakery to the east, and Wailua Bakery and Opal's Thai in Haleiwa. Uncle Bryan's Surf Suratt is a great place to rent surfboards and paddleboards too - as well as get lessons right on the beach. Bitsy was fantastic to work with. We had to book last minute (the very day we checked in), and she was so accommodating. I can't believe our luck in finding this place and working with Bitsy. I will have so many fond memories of staying here. Can't wait to go back again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
