Why the Owner Chose Grand Haven
I fell in love with Grand Haven Cottages when I first heard about this new development a few months prior to the ground breaking ceremony. Close to restaurants and the beach and situated directly across from the Grand Haven Channel, it seemed like the perfect place to relax and watch the boats go by on their way to Lake Michigan. Trips to the condo have enabled me to relax in Grand Haven, a beach town I have loved since childhood and one that my own children can now enjoy. It’s like a little oasis in the midst of everything.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
There is a unique charm to an upscale cottage development close to restaurants and downtown as well as to the beach and right across the street from the boardwalk and channel to Lake Michigan.
We enjoy a sense of privacy even in the midst of all the action. There is a wonderful view from the pool and patio of boats passing through the channel to Lake Michigan. It's a great place for couples and families to relax and enjoy all that one of West Michigan’s best beach towns has to offer.

Our First Family Vacation at a Rental was a Learning Experience!

We are two professionals with two small children (1 and 3.5). We were going on our first family vacation together, and enjoyed the beach, the boardwalk, and all that Grand Haven has to offer. Downtown was nice to stroll through, though the only restaurant we can rave about is the Pavilion. The condo is very walking-friendly to most everything, including a million places to get ice cream, which is good, as we like ice cream on vacation. The beach was a mile away, and we drove to keep the kids rested for the beach, which is very nice. The nearest restaurant wasn’t real kid-friendly, but looked like lots of fun for those older. The musical fountain was a nice thing to see. The condo complex has a pool a few steps away, which was great when the kids wanted water, but we didn’t want to lug them all the way to the beach. There is also a a YMCA with a great playground for little kids. This was our first experience with a rental, so we didn’t realize we needed to bring (extra) toilet paper, paper towels, etc. A nearby Meijer had those things. The rental did have bath towels and a washer/dryer, and the other listed amenities (TV, bbq) were very nice.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

The property is new, clean, and quite spacious. Well equipped with TV/DVD, air conditioning, gas grill outside, laundry, dishwasher, fridge ... you're covered. Location can't be beat. With small children we walked to downtown Grand Haven for food and shopping, and down to the boardwalk for snacks and sight-seeing. The beach is within walking distance as well but we drove with the little ones and all their beach gear. Great property, great location, great vacation.

We had a fantastic week while staying at this condo in Grand Haven! Within walking distance to everything (we drove to the beach with our small children). Beautifully decorated, plenty of room and well equipped for cooking/grilling. I would definitely recommend this property and look forward to visiting again!

We had a great week at this condo! It was beautifully decorated and had all the comforts of home. It was perfect for our family with 2 young kids. The location can't be beat, it felt like we were right in the middle of everything. We walked to most of the places we wanted to go in town, although we did drive to the beach. The only slight drawback was having to find street parking on the busier days (says you can park on the grass, but it looked and felt odd doing that for longer than just unloading). On the less busy days though we were able to park right across the street which worked out fine. All and all, it was a fabulous place and we look forward to coming back next year!

we loved our stay here!! it's nearly new and professionally designed with all the kitchen fixings you may need close to everything... restaurants, shops, boardwalk, dancing waters, pier, boats, beach, ice cream, hot dogs, pool --everything little kids and "big kids" like... i recommend : ) : )
