Why the Owner Chose Garden City Beach
More about me: Early in 2011, I found a new home with Sellstate. Instantly feeling a strong connection to the way Sellstate treats not only their clients, but also their Agents, I knew instantly that Sellstate was not only a place to work, but a place that offered lucrative advancement in my professional career. "Coming from a real estate giant such as Remax, to Sellstate where the atmosphere is more personal and friendly, only creates a better feeling for not only myself, but my clients. The personal attention to every transaction, along with the warm, friendly, and luxurious atmosphere that the Sellstate displays to everyone, allows my clients to be wholly integrated into every part of their real estate transaction. I fully believe that bigger is not always better, as displayed by Sellstate, and this allows me the resources necessary to truly make a difference for my clients in the world of real estate".
In addition to my love of real estate, I also enjoys . One of my greatest loves is travel, visiting over 314 cities on over 14 countries. I has two Himalayan felines to keep me company while at home, however my time at home is mostly spent working on my true love, real estate. As an investor myself, I says. "Now is the best time to buy real estate as an investment. With much to choose from at low prices, this really is what investors should be looking into. I can assure you, that as a commercial and residential specialist, no one knows the investment market more than myself and my team. Together we will provide you a transaction that is unparalleled in its service, professionalism, and luxury."
Owner's Map of Garden City Beach
I'm a Native of the American Caribbean Territory of Puerto Rico. Born in San Juan, I spent my early childhood years learning about the different opportunities that the world could afford me. I was always interested in education, as well as travel from a very young age. My educational career, I graduate the University of Puerto Rico with a Masters Degree in not only Business Administration, but also in Science. At the young age of 21, I became a Professor of Mathematics at the Polytechnical College. Whilst flourishing in my educational career, I desire to travel and seek adventure, led me to leave Puerto Rico to find further fulfillment in both my personal and business life. 1993 was a year that I will never forget, as I made my move to mainland America, where I would reside in Orlando Florida. My career in Orlando comprised of timeshare Sales and Marketing, My first introduction to the world of real estate. I would work for Vista Resorts for many years, as well as Embassy Resorts as a Sr. Marketing Manager before being transferred to the Myrtle Beach area to help open new resorts along the Grand Strand. Eventually working with Spinnaker Resorts, I helped build the company from six agents to over 150, where profits rose from $6,000,000.00 to over $39,000,000.00 annually. I also went on to preside over 150 reps in over 53 locations, that helped shape and direct the timeshare giant to lead over 30,000 annual tours. I again saw more opportunity in 2001 where he began exploring the world of Real Estate. I became a savvy investor, and started buying up luxury properties along the Grand Strand, which has led me to a phenomenal real estate portfolio. With in a few years of investing in real estate, I decided to make a career out of his new found hobby, and became a Real Estate Agent in 2003. Since then, I has worked diligently with Remax to the satisfaction of all of my clients.

We brought down a high school baseball team of 17 high school players and 3 coaches and had an excellent time. The kids all had a blast and lived very comfortably in the house for a week. The house had more than enough rooms and both kitchens and all six bathrooms worked great, even after a week of almost 20 high school boys used the place. The house was in great shape when we arrived and very clean. Hector, the owner, met us at the house and was extremely accommodating and very helpful. We were his first guests of the year, but the house looked like it had been regularly cleaned and maintained. The location was great and was just a short walk away from the Garden City Pier and several restaurants and other attractions, The beach front view and option to walk out the back door into the ocean was a great experience for our guys, We are coming back again this year and have already made reservations. I highly recommend the "Seashell Palace." Thank you for making our baseball trip so enjoyable Hector, we look forward to coming back in the spring of 2012.

Good: Location close to Garden City Pier area & stores; screened-in porch. Not very good: The condition of the back/outdoor area including hot tub, "tiki bar" and outdoor furniture is rundown, needs maintenance/cushions replaced and/or fresh paint; received ant bites while trying to standup patio table & umbrella in backyard area. The website pictures do not accurately reflect the current condition of this property! Terrible: 1. Water leaking heavily from 2nd floor bathroom skylights, exhaust fans and AC vents after overnight rain on Jul 31. Needed to use 6 kitchen pans/containers to catch water (pictures available). Called owner next morning (Aug 1) & rain again with leaks early on Aug 4 but no roof repair guys showed up until late in day on 4th. It was evident from skylight ceiling repairs that leaks have occurred before. 2. Discovered ants Aug 2 AM all over kitchen & food. Called owner but the pest control guy didn't show up until Aug 3 in the afternoon.
Owner response:First we would like to say it is our sincere goal that all of our fantastic guest have a wonderful, fantastic, vacation. We would also like to thank all of families who have sent us best wishes over the years for a wonderful home and cherished memories. We are grateful and thankful to all of you.It is unfortunate this guest arrived at one of our historys hottest, dryest summers ever. Yes indeed the extreme weather cracked the upstairs bathroom skylight. We we were notified and we immediately called and called untill we found an emergency roofing company that by the way was busy with other homes with the same issues. They sent a repair person over just for me within 24-36hrs to fix it and it was indeed fixed the next evening. We are sorry the grass was not as green as the guest would have liked but we do not control Mother Nature. We are really the only home in area for that matter that even has an outside area to entertain ,all other homes only have dunes with no outside area at all.Its is a very nice area and many families have enjoyed having it over the years! As far as the pest controll we called asap and he went immediately and stated the guest said the real problem was the hot weather and the home was beautiful, and could he please adjust the outside temperature?Sorry he could not.He stated there were no signs of pest and guest just wanted attention and were looking for discounts! We would also like to mention the guest called us frantically when they left to say they had a great time and to tell us that Grandfather left is diamond wedding band behind. We rushed over to search and sent to the guest secure mail,no charge, to ensure they recieved that special ring back.We really do want to express to all is is our desire to make each guest as happy as possibe but sometimes you cannot please some people no matter how good, or hard you try.We wish them the best.Best wishes to all.

This is a wonderful house and location for a reunion with ages 11 to 77. The unit was exceptional -- clean, well maintained, and centrally located (especially important for the youngsters that could not drive). The owner was very helpful and easy to do business with. We do plan to come back for our next reunion.

We had a full-house for our week-long family reunion here in July 2011 and had a GREAT time. The house is clean and comfortable and the location is hard to beat. Hector, the owner, is super helpful and attentive and lives nearby, which adds some peace of mind. Hard to believe 22 family members ages 14 - 78 can get along in one house for an entire week, but we did it, and we plan to be back again next year! Thanks, Hector!!!
