Enjoy nature's beauty on the water, with kayaking, boating or just relaxing on the white sandy beach. Only steps away, the beach is located down just a few stone stairs that lead from the lawn to the sand.

Enjoy walks to Onset village, shops, restaurants, the beach or indulge in a spa treatment at the Point Independence Inn and leave the car behind. In the evening enjoy the sunsets the great blue heron, kingfisher, and cooking outside on the stone charcoal fireplace or gas grill. Located in a quiet neighborhood. Short distance to golf courses, amusements, Cape Cod Canal bike paths, Canal cruises, public boat ramp, town pier.

  • I stayed at this home 7/19/08 -- 7/26/08. I had a wonderful and very relaxing vacation. The home owners could not have been nicer. It was a pleasure working with them. The location is perfect, for me it was just far enough from home that I felt like I was away but not too far that it took hours in the car to get there. The home is great too, more than enough room for me vacationing alone, but plenty of space for a family or a group of friends. The view of the cove is incredible, I had gorgeous sunsets almost every night. In addition to having a location right on the water it's just a short walk to Onset center, shops, church, restaurants and the town pier where you can take a tour of the canal which I highly recommend. If you need a baseball fix while on vacation as I did, there are a couple of fields within a short drive where you can catch a Cape Cod Baseball League game and see the future of MLB. It's also perfectly located to take day trips to other parts of the Cape. I drove to Hyannis one day to take the Scenic Railroad and visit the Cape Cod Potato Chip factory and on the way back to Onset went to the Christmas Tree shop and outlet mall. It is also very close to the Cape Cod Rail Trail for scenic walks or bike rides along the canal. I would definitely consider returning again for vacation and will recommend VRBO & this particular home to friends and family. Thank you again for a great vacation experience.

  • Beautiful view-right on the bay-sandy bottom. Includes beach lounge chairs. Wonderful home, very well equiped for families-nice breeze off the bay all the time. Comfortable beds. Walk to quaint town.

  • We enjoyed our stay. The view is lovely. The kids had a wonderful time playing on the beach and swimming. We saw hermit crabs, green crabs, fiddler crabs, and horseshoe crabs, plus snails, fish and birds.
