We have had a wonderful few days here to celebrate New Year's Eve and our daughter's 8th birthday! Two full days of heavy fog made an interesting beach experience especially up here on the 8th floor! We returned to one of our Port A favorites - The Crazy Cajun, and also had a nice lunch at the Port A Brewery. Thanks for your comfortable & well furnished condo - our kids were delighted to find Monopoly and we had a game that spanned 2 days!

This condo was absolutely all Millie & John say it is & more. My husband & I and our best friends stayed there & our friends raved about my choice. In our 20 + years of going to Mustang Island we've stayed on 2 other properties & this one is a big hit with us. The view from the balcony is just what we wanted...the full moon was a bonus. It is apparent that John & Millie care very much about making their winter home comfortable & appealing. We had everything we needed or wanted. Loved having king beds in both bedrooms. Also, Millie & John are very easy to contact & communicate with. We had a great 3 days!

We researched a ton of places and this unit has the best ocean view in our opinion. Owners are also very helpful and quick to respond to all inquiries. Nice kitchen and bedrooms. Highly recommend this unit!

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend beach getaway. The condo was perfect for us. It is nicely furnished, comfortable and right on the beach. We enjoyed spending the evenings sitting on the balcony, watching the sun set and the moon rise. It's a short walk on the boardwalk across the dunes to the beach. The sun was bright and the water was warm! I wasn't ready to leave on Sunday. Thank you for sharing your condo -- we are looking forward to visiting again!

We had a wonderful stay at your winter home. Thank you for sharing it with us. This was our second stay here. We have stayed a lot of condos on various vacations, and have to say that yours is the most comfortable one we have stayed at. It has such a cozy and relaxing feel to it. The staff at the Seagull is wonderful too, very pleasant and accommodating. The view is gorgeous and the coziness of your condo can't be beat. Everything was wonderful!

Two couples stayed at this condo and had a wonderful time. It has a magnificent view of the ocean! Everything was spotless. The beds were very comfotable. Just what we had in mind. It is a quiet place and is conveniently located. Highly recommended.

Thank you for providing such a comfortable condo for our vacation. This is our second time to stay in your unit. We requested it since we enjoyed it so much last year. We are return guests and had a Girl's Weekend with my 82 year young mother, sister, and nieces. The condo was Clean, and very well appointed and the view from the large balcony was awesome. We didn't want to leave and will definately be back again.

Dear John and Millie, Thank You! We enjoyed your Texas home very much! We are from Plano, Texas - North of Dallas. We visited with our daughter - a senior at Texas A & M, her boyfriend, our son just graduated from high school, and his girlfriend. We all had a wonderful time - even though we didn't get to see any dolphins on the P.A. Pier! My parents, daughter (age 5) and I just returned from almost a week in this condo. It was wonderful! Just after unpacking, we all plopped down on those comfy leather couches and while looking at the beach view that went on for miles and mile, we commented to each other how "at home" we truly felt in the condo. We had everything we needed and the special touches everywhere demonstrated to us how much pride that John and Millie have in their condo. The view and ocean sounds are incredible! The balcony was huge and where we spent our time when we weren't swimming in the pool or ocean. The Seagull property is immaculate with lush and well manicured landscaping. My daughter loved the pool and being 100 steps from the beach. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at your condo. It was cozy and very comfortable. The staff at the Seagull were very pleasant. The view of the ocean is beautiful. It was relaxing to sit in the living room or eat at the dining room table and look out the windows at the ocean. The location is great. This was our first trip to Texas and we will definitely return. We wanted to relax and be warm and that is what we did. My children (15, 13 and 12 years old) enjoyed the pool and the beach. We ventured into Port Aransas for dinner a few nights and also for a trip to the candy store, where we had delicious fudge and "Good". We also had great ice cream at Scoopy's. We were happy to stay close to "home" for most of our stay. We enjoyed our time at Millie and John's "Home away from Home". Thank you for sharing it with us.

We had a great time at this condo near Port Aransas. We enjoyed being able to view the ocean from our deck and walking right out onto the beach. The beach was pretty and our boys enjoyed having a giant sandbox in the backyard. The condo itself was comfortable for our family with a king size bed in each bedroom and each bedroom had access to its own bathroom. We plan to return again.

John & Millie ! We had the pleasure of spending Christmas in your lovely beach haven. We could not have asked for a more perfect holiday situation...the beach, the weather (w/the exception of a freak wind storm). We ate like kings; cooked fresh seafood every night. I'm pretty sure they know us by name at the fish market :) A great wintery beach vacation and we'd love to come back for the summer or even next Christmas. Dear John and Millie, We had a wonderful, relaxing time at your Texas home. Sunday the day we arrived was sunny and 60, the day we leave (of course) Wednesday, December 2nd, sunny and 60! Monday & Tuesday cold, rainy, but those days were spent reading, sleeping and relaxing. Your place is perfect! We'd love to come back in the "busy" season. Ate at Fins & Pelican's Landing. Dear John and Millie, We had a lovely fall weekend - big storms Friday - went across the ferry with some heavy rain & strong current - more water in the ditches than we've ever seen. Saturday stayed cloudy with rough waves all day & then beautiful stars Saturday nite & a gorgeous sunny day on Sunday. It's the weekend before Thanksgiving & we're thankful we had the time and the funds to take a short break on Mustang Island. Lots of memories here at the SeaGull from 15 years ago when our children were young. I'm so glad we came back to Mustang Island for a retreat from all the hard work and troubles of life. My two young sons and I stayed at John and Millie's condo for two nights in June during a road trip / vacation. Everything was wonderful with a homey ambience, we felt like we were staying at a family member's home while they were away. The view of the beach was exactly what I'd hoped, and the boys loved the pool as much as the ocean. During my stay I accidentally knocked down a window shade (note - don't pull them up all the way), and apologized via email to Millie, promising to call maintenance to get it fixed right after we got back from lunch. When the boys and I returned, it had been taken care of, she had made the call for me. Thanks to Millie and John for giving us a fantastic place to stay; I would definitely return!

FROM OUR GUEST BOOK: What a nice condo! You have done a nice job with it. It is very homey and cozy. We spent the Christmas holidays here, and we had a great time!! We relaxed a lot. Walking on the beach looking for seashells and sanddollars is our favorite thing to do. We even went out to St. Jo for about 3 hours. Dear John and Millie, My husband and I and our two daughters have been staying at the Seagull for many years. This year we came with my oldest daughter, son in law, and grandson. We stayed in different condos. Your condo is very comfortable and added to our enjoynment of being at the beach. I'm sure that you are interested in suggestions for improvement - and I do have a couple..... The burners on the stove are not level and the one large burner cooks at a higher temperature than the others. The cookware - mainly fry pans are not large enough to cook for 6 people. You are also low on cooking utensils (only 1 spatula and no tongs). Other than those minor suggestions, we enjoyed staying in your condo and wish you and your family all the best. R & E Austin, Tx
