This is a 9th floor unit in the center of the building. It is away from the elevators and extremely quiet. The unit has a king size bed, two bunk beds and a queen sleeper sofa. With two full baths, one with a large walk in shower, it can easily accommodate 6 people. This is a luxury unit with all the amenities you would expect.
The resort is located in Central Destin across the street from the Big Kahuna's Water Park. Pelican Beach is near many wonderful and renowned restaurants as well as several great shopping areas which include Silver Sans Outlet Mall, Baytowne Wharf and Destin Commons with its huge multiplex cinema and nationally recognized stores.
The amenities of Pelican Beach include security at the entrance, covered parking, game room and movie rentals at the front desk. Also on premises is Chan's Deli which serves sandwiches, pizza, wine, beer as well as ice cream and some breakfast items.
The resort has a tiki bar located on the very large beachside deck, a heated indoor/outdoor pool with a waterfall, a Jacuzzi also located on the beach deck, beach service rentals for chairs and umbrellas, a large barbecue area with several grills, and a workout facility with steam room and sauna. Also, the amenities at the Terrace, which include an outdoor heated pool and workout facility may be used by Pelican Beach Resort guests also at no extra charge.
For more activities off premises, there is "The Track" less then a mile away which has bungee jumping, go carts, mini-golf, arcade games, and a kiddy size amusement part. There are several fabulous golf courses in the area as well as chartered deep sea fishing - Dustin's motto is that it is "The Luckiest Fishing Village in the World."
