Hale Hamakua is a newly renovated historical home in downtown Honokaa, the gateway to Waipio Valley and the Hamakua Coast. The house is in walking distance to all of downtown including the farmers market, post office, bank, groceries, and more. New renovations include new appliances, new beds, furniture, art, decor, and more!
Hale Hamakua Guesthouse is set just off the main road and is nestled in a bamboo grove with tropical fruit and nut trees throughout our one acre property, including tangerine, lime, banana, avocado, macadamia nuts, and more. Hale Hamakua is located right next door to a holistic arts center where you can explore yoga, massage, hula, Pilates, dance classes, holistic healing sessions, and more if interested.

- We offer our guests a Hawaiian welcome with fresh flowers and fruit!! The studio bedroom has a separate entrance, with new Queen Bed, private bath, and separate kitchenette with it's own small fridge and microwave. At Hale Hamakua we share the Aloha Spirit with our guests through eco-friendly, green living by using organic or all natural cleaning products as much as possible throughout the house and by providing recycling in-house for our guests. November - March of each year the Humpback Whales are often seen frolicking in Waipio Bay as well as the Kohala Coast just 25 minutes away. Waipio Waterfalls are perfect for swimming, Waipio Beach is excellent for surfing and body boarding.

Special Rate for couples ... $99-125/night ... $ 500-800/week.
50% deposit required.
$50-100 cleaning fee + 11.42% tax applies to all rentals.
