Hale Hamakua is right on the main street of downtown Honokaa, only 7 miles from the beautiful and legendary Waipio Valley, with it's black sand beach, waterfalls, and tropical rainforest. Hale Hamakua is a newly renovated historical home in downtown Honokaa, the gateway to Waipio Valley and the Hamakua Coast. The house is in walking distance to all of downtown including the farmers market, post office, bank, groceries, and more. New renovations include new appliances, new beds, furniture, art, decor, and more! Hale Hamakua Guesthouse is set just off the main road and is nestled in a bamboo grove with tropical fruit and nut trees throughout our one acre property, including tangerine, lime, banana, avocado, macadamia nuts, and more. Hale Hamakua is located right next door to a holistic arts center where you can explore yoga, massage, hula, Pilates, dance classes, holistic healing sessions, and more if interested.
