Also, see our whale video, we just added the video of a mom and her newborn calf yards offshore from the villa. Video was shot right from the lanai of the villa. The mom gave birth and stayed for hours in the protective cove of Oneloa Bay teaching her calf how to swim and nurse. There was no better place to view this spectacular and heart touching moment then this villa.
Overlooking the ocean and the famous 5th hole of the Kapalua® Bay Golf Course, this 2 bedroom, 3 bath 2,400 sq ft villa is luxurious comfort personified. This villa has expansive Molokai, ocean and sunset views and has been affectionately remodeled with a 30's Hawaiian plantation feel.
From the front room and lanai you can gaze down into Oneloa Bay and watch sea turtles and dolphins. During whale season there is no better place for observing humpback whales. Mother humpback whales have even birthed calves in Oneloa Bay, during a birthing in winter 2008 the mother and calf could be seen playing for more then 8 hours right in front of the villa. **Update, there was another birth in Oneloa Bay on 2/24/09, again the mother stayed in the protected bay with her calf for a good part of the day as a large group gathered to observe, a video of this was captured from this villa's lanai**
Women golf enthusiasts will want to make this their Maui home every October as the villa is perfect for viewing the October LPGA professionals as they play the famous 5th hole of the Kapalua® Bay Golf Course right in front of the villa.
This ocean front villa's comfortable luxury will spoil you. There are two beautiful bedroom suites – the master with king bed and large bath with Jacuzzi tub, separate shower and large walk-in closet. The second bedroom suite sports two twin beds and has it's own private bath attached. There is a third bathroom with shower off the main living area.
The Ironwoods has a heated pool with spa, work out room and two tennis courts. The Ironwoods is very private and is gated.
This villa is located within the Kapalua® Resort which includes 3 white sand beaches, Kapalua Bay Beach, Oneloa Beach (right by villa) and Flemmings Beach (short walk from villa), free resort shuttle service, fine dining, shops, two golf courses, golf academy, zip lines, miles of hiking trials, snorkeling and swimming, and nearby horse back riding.
There is a free resort door to door shuttle service available from 6 am to 11 pm.
This villa is a quick 10 minutes from Whalers Village Shopping Center and Kaanapali beach, 15 minutes from Lahaina Town.

Well maintained trails are now open above Honolua Ridge and at the old Village Golf course. Environmental Center, Ritz, now open for Hawaiian culture and ocean appreciation classes and seminars. Adventure Center - Zip line tours and rock climbing wall info. Book kaying, scuba diving lessons and excuriosns. Great little cafe serving healthy breakfast and lunches.
