This house in Nice (pronounced niece) has become Our Nice Place. Our family has fallen in love with Clear Lake. Each time we visit, we vow to come back again and again. Now you, too, have the opportunity to enjoy the peace and serenity of quiet mornings, sipping coffee on your own private deck, while you listen to the sounds of the birds gathered in the surrounding trees. If you wait quietly, a Blue Heron will likely perch nearby.

After coffee, grab your pole and fish from your own private 200 foot long pier, or take a dip in the lake from your private swimming dock. Enjoy breakfast in the modern, fully equipped kitchen with seating for up to 10 or sit in the glass enclosed dining area with 180 degree views of the lake and a full view of the twin peaks of Mount Konocti.

After breakfast, the options are endless. You can engage in fishing, shopping, antiquing, gambling, golfing, hiking, biking, swimming, jet skiing, sunbathing, skiing, boating, kayaking, and much more – all within minutes. If you have children in your group, there are 2 large play structures within easy walking distance.

After a day of activity and relaxation, you will be ready to prepare a good steak on the gas grill and gather with family and friends on the covered party dock nearly 250 feet out into the lake. When the food is gone, slip into your personal eight-person hot tub, sip a bit of wine from the wide array of local wineries, and watch the sun slip slowly behind the mountains. Life just doesn’t get any better.

At the end of the day, as you slip off to bed in any one of the four lakeside bedrooms, you will be lulled to sleep by the sounds of lapping waves and the occasional calls of ducks, geese and loons. After a great night of rest, you can begin your new day by stepping directly onto the second floor balcony from one of three upstairs bedrooms. The master suite is equipped with a king bed, armoire, 27” satellite television, large walk in closet and private bath. The other two, second floor bedrooms are equipped with queen beds, dressers and night stands. The fourth bedroom, also with full lake view, is located on the main floor and has two twin beds.

We are convinced that once you visit Our Nice Place, you, too, will come back year after year, to this small piece of California paradise. It’s our pleasure to share Northern California’s best kept secret with you and your family. We hope to see you in Nice very soon.

Beds
- King Bed: The master bedroom suite features mission style furniture with a king size bed, armoire with TV, ceiling fan, and large walk-in closet. Enjoy the view of the lake from this second story bedroom while in bed or from the balcony.
- Queen Bed (2) : Bedroom #2, also on the second level, features a custom made "fence" headboard and white furniture. The view of the lake can be enjoyed from the queen bed, front porch style rocker, or the exterior balcony. Bedroom #3 also features a mission style queen bed, full view of the lake and direct access to the balcony.
- Twin/Single Bed: Bedroom #4 is on the main level of the house with 2 twin beds and also has a view of Clear Lake.
- Crib: We have provided a porta-crib, play pen, linens, and a high chair for the convenience of your little ones.
