We loved our stay in Harold's Haven. It is a well maintained spacious apartment, with lots of comfortable places to sit indoors and outdoors, including some deck chairs right besides the lake.It as a wonderful place to come back to each day. It's a short 5 minute drive into the town of Leland, and a great base from which to explore the beautiful Lake Michigan beaches, some nice hiking trails, many wineries and other little towns on the Leleenau Peninsula. The owners were also very easy to deal with. We would definitely recommend the Little Dipper and hope to return there in the very near future.
Owner response:Thank you for taking the time to let us know how we are doing. The private dock/deck and seating right on the water was provided new this past summer. Now everything is private to our guests at the "Little Dipper" apartment - balcony, patio & firepit with newly planted "green privacy screen" just this fall, lakefront dock/deck! With your review we know we were right to make the improvements! Hope to see you UpNORTH soon!

We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the "Little Dipper." We were impressed with the decor, the amentities and the cleanliness of the rental. The rooms were spacious with high ceilings, the bed was very comfortable, and the view of the lake was beautiful through the tree tops. Open the windows and turn on the two fans and the breeze kept the temperatures very comfortable. It felt like your very own adult tree house. No details were missed from beach towels, to kayaks, a grill, a large hammock, our own "Little Dipper" dock with two comfortable chairs, and the list goes on and on. Even though it is attached to a larger unit, the rental felt very private. We will definitely be returning to this adorable little one bedroom haven.
Owner response:When we vacation as a couple we always have the conversation about privacy, amenities, comfort & "returnability." Then we go back to our rentals & take another look! We are so glad to hear that our visitors are enjoying the "Little Dipper." Welcome all "adventure seekers, sightseers, & romantics"!!
