I have a gorgeous three-bedroom apartment in the east village (E. 10th St., between 1st Ave and Ave A). The location is as vibrant and quintessentially New York as it gets. Many of the restaurants, shops and services in the area are the most popular in the city. (check "yelp" and enter zip code 10009 to see the top-notch reviews for local restaurants, shops, and so on.)
The apartment very comfortably sleeps up to 10 people (I would prefer a maximum of 6 people.)
An adorable, lovable cat named Le Tigre is the keeper of the apartment. He will be there, and will want you to feed him, so this is only a good arrangement for someone who loves cats. He will want to make the rounds and sleep with you during the night, but only if you leave your door ajar for him.
The Apartment: * HUGE living room and kitchen with 18 foot High ceilings, * 2 full bathrooms * one-floor walk up * tons of light * 42 " television with full cable service and Google TV (IE: free netflix!) * high speed wireless internet * landline with free long distance in North America. * Apartment comfortably sleeps 6 but could do more (if you have some guests coming in.) * full stereo * outdoor deck * next to the Russian Steam baths, TONS of restaurants, bars, shopping, parks, subways...everything you could possibly want! * Please note, the apartment is quintessentially East Village...loads of character and reflective of the neighborhood. If you're looking for brand new, "corporate decor" or high-end appliances with egyptian cotton sheets, this isn't for you. If you're looking for a comfortable, spacious, clean and a real East-Village environment, you can't beat this. Professional cleaning before your stay.
(About your rooms): ALL HAVE TONS OF LIGHT AND HARDWOOD FLOORS.
First room:
* Huge, (I haven't properly measured it, but something like 25 feet long, 18 feet wide, 18-foot high ceilings;
* Queen bed
* A loft, which itself is another 14 feet wide, 16 feet long. A double futon is in the loft for more sleeping room!
* Huge empty closet.
Second room:
* Bed in a loft, which itself is another 10 feet wide, 10 feet long.
* Double Bed.
Third Room:
* Queen bed/box spring/frame bed on floor (not in a loft)
(Fourth bedroom)
* This is an unofficial bedroom at the front of the apartment, leading off the living room. It features a loft double bed, with a window overlooking the street. This works well for a heavy-sleeper who isn't too fussy about their room.

- No Pets Allowed : There is already a house cat (Le Tigre), so please don't bring any other pets to the apartment.
- Kid Friendly : Kids love staying here because some of the beds are in "lofts" making them feel like they have their own fort. LeTigre the cat is also a huge hit with the kids. There is also a fabulous park (Tompkins Square) just down the street for playing in a playground, skateboarding, people watching or watching the dogs in the dog-park.

The great location will give visitors a taste of what it's really like to live in NYC. This is a popular area for tourists to visit but it is not a tourist area, therefore it is an authentic, lived-in neighborhood.
