  this was my 3rd visit to this condo at ocean village and each time i have gone there have been upgrades made to the unit. this time i was pleasantly surprised that there were flat screen tv's there along with a new wireless internet service. the unit was spotless upon my arrival and we immediately went down to the main pool where they have now added a basketball court and shuffleboard courts since our last visit. there is also a convenience of having a pool literally right outside of the building that the unit is in and for those who like to swim and relax in a quiter atmosphere it is perfect. my kids enjoy the fact that they each have their own bed in the 2nd bedroom of the unit. basically there is nothing there that is needed as everything is right there at hand in the unit. we go directly to the supermarket before arriving and all plates, pots, pans and silverware is there waiting for us. the owners are very nice and as a matter of fact a special stuffed animal of ours was accidentally left behind when we left on saturday and we immediately called the owner who very promptly had it sent directly to me within a couple of days which was amazing and made my family very excited as it has been in our family for over 15 years and we thought it was gone. i would highly recommend this unit at ocean village to anyone that would like a nice enjoyable vacation right by the beach of hutchinson island.

  My husband I had a great time at Ocean Village resort condos. We stayed in this condo which had everything that we needed for a fab time. The apartment is spacious,it was very well decorated, and well maintained. The pool bar was our hang out (Beer $2) and they have a special each night for dinner which was $10! Wish we could have stayed longer as the weather was awesome! Thank you Adele

  The condo was ok. It really could have been a little cleaner...but the king bed was very comfy and my daughter had no trouble sleeping in the smaller room. The problems I have with this place doesn't have anything to do with the rental. If your kids are older it is a great place to stay...and this condo was really, very nice. If your kids are smaller it is a little cumbersome. Packing beach stuff up, getting in the car, parking, unloading, reloading, etc...I guess my main problem is that the pool doesn't allow kids under in the big pool. The other thing is that if your children are over 3 they can't use flotation devices, not even floaties I assume...and my 3 yr old WILL NOT get into a pool without her arm floaties...she just refuses...but I saw a much older woman using a "flotation device" and nothing was said. I also got irritated when I saw people eating ice creams and Popsicles on the pool deck. Last year they wouldn't even let me feed my 6 month old baby cereal. Anyway...if you are older and your kids are good swimmers it is a wonderful place. If your kids are under 3...not so much.

  Owner response: We appreciate all feed back that we receive and always do our best to improve on any areas that need assistance. We have an excellent onsite cleaning service that until this report has not received any complaints or problems in regards to the condos cleanliness. In the event there ever is a problem all guests are given my personal number as well as our cleaners & maintenance personal numbers and can contact us if there is a matter that needs to be addressed during their stay, Unfortunately these guests did not give us the opportunity to correct the situation; I have contacted them directly to find out what the issue was so that we can make sure it does not happen in the future. In regards to the age requirements at the pool and the enforcement is common in many condo communities & we regret that these guests had a bad experience at the main pool area. In addition to the main pool, there is a children's wading pool plus we have a private pool and mini tennis courts which are located next to our building to use. Our condo is a short walk to the beach however if you are planning to bring several items with you (Chairs, umbrellas, a picnic basket, beach toys) we do recommend taking your car and park at the clubhouse which is located next to the beach.   Hi Eric, Now that we have been home a week, I have time to sit and write. Jim and I had a great vacation at your Ocean Village Condo. Your unit was so well equipped and easily available to everything. We didn't even know that the pool beside your building existed. What a great surprise! Thank you for accommodating our early arrival on April 13. We don't know what our plans for next April are, but if Florida is in the mix, we will be sure to let you know and rent your unit again if available.

  L'appartement était très agréable, très spacieux et lumineux. Tout l'équipement sur place était bien pratique et le tout très propre. Le propriétaire avait même pensé à nous laisser de la lessive :) Le condo était très calme à cette époque de l'année, mais avec un accès direct à l'océan. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour. Voiture indispensable.

  We stayed in this condo in April 2011. First time here and it was everything we expected and more. Excellent condition, very clean and well located in a great location. Very quiet and relaxing. Being next to the pool and golf on site is great as well. We would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Eric (the owner) was excellent to deal with and we'll be back again.   Eric, I just wanted to let you know that we had a fabulous time this past week. My husband and I truly enjoyed our quiet time on the beach with the kids and they have even tagged it as the "Best Vacation Ever" (even beating out Disney World...and that's saying a lot). The apartment was great and very comfortable for all of us. I have to tell you that the best part was having the entire beach only to ourselves!! There were two other people on the beach, but they were almost a quarter mile away! lol. My husband and I are already thinking of looking at our calendars to see if we can make it back for a mini vacation before the summer ends. Thanks again, The Vargas Family.

  You will love this condo as it's well decorated & modernized. We've stayed in the past years in other condos in Ocean Village that were outdated and not well appointed. We love this condo and plan to stay here in our future visits to Hutchinson Island.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

  Had a great time at this location. My wife & I loved the decor and the fact the most of the furniture was was new - not what we were expecting. I was able to play a few rounds of golf and go coin hunting on the beach with my medal decector. The complex of Ocean Village was perfect, it was nice to go for walks and sit on the beach or relax by the pool with out leaving having to get in a car and drive. We plan to return in the spring - we recommend this highly.
