This privately-owned, three-bedroom/three-bath condo is located right on the beach of South Padre Island at the exclusive Bahia Mar Resort. This spacious two-level condo is beautifully furnished and decorated. Special features include three balconies which provide a spectacular view up and down the beach of South Padre Island.
The master suite bedroom is upstairs, with its own private balcony. The two other bedrooms are downstairs, each with its own bath. Two brand new Simmons pillowtop Queen beds in each of the rooms downstairs. The beautiful updated kitchen is fully equipped. But if you don't feel like you can try many of our great restaurants on the island. The large living room with two balconies that overlook the oceanfront where you can enjoy jet-skiing, parasailing, and the banana boat ride.
Water sports, and beach chairs and umbrella rentals are available. And sand castle lessons are available! Enjoy the walk down the beautiful river walk located on the property. Off-site bird- and turtle-watching, and beach four-wheeling are popular island activities.
Entertainment includes seasonal big-band music and karaoke. Spring break brings live bands, radio remote broadcasts, and daily poolside parties.
Other activities include horseback riding and the Laguna Madre Nature trail. Visit the historical Port Isabel. There are museums and make sure you visit the 100 year old Port Isabel lighthouse. Port Isabel has many cute little shops including antiques and art galleries. Just a 30 minute drive to Brownsville to one of the top zoos in the country- The Gladys Porter Zoo.
Then across the border to Matamores, Mexico. Make sure you visit Garcia's restaurant and curios shop. The food and entertainment are great and the shop there has wonderful Mexican crafted gift items. For you golfers there is Golf on the Gulf on Mexico at the the South Padre Island Golf Club in Languna Vista, or play at the Rancho Viejo golf club, just 30 minutes away from South Padre.
Water activities include Schlitterbahn Beach Waterpark, dolphin watch, boogie boarding, snorkeling and scuba, surfing and sailboat rental. For the fisherman in the family there is bay fishing, deep sea fishing, fishing at the jetties, pier, surf and fly fishing.

My family and I really enjoyed our week stay in your condo. The location is fabulous-beach front and near the pool. The pool and grounds were in excellent condition. The beds are very comfortable and loved the incredible views. We look forward to staying there again soon!

We had a wonderful time! The condo was perfectly laid out to accommodate two families! The walk to the beach was so easy, and watching the sunrise from our own balconies was perfect. The pool is new and very accommodating for young swimmers. We really enjoyed our 5 nights staying in Julie's condo! Thanks!

We stayed for 4th of July weekend and had a fabulous time. Since the condo is located to the North, the beach was not crowded or rowdy. The 3 bedrooms and 3 baths meant everyone had their own privacy. The pool at the complex was pristine, and the walk to the beach was incredibly short. Security for the complex was very visible (secured entry to parking, guards regularly walking the grounds) and they obviously were serious about keeping everyone safe. Great vacation!

Great condo with all the amenities you might need for a beach vacation! 3 bedrooms and 3 baths, a very large condo! South Padre is perfect for beach walking, sandcastle building, wildlife viewing over at the World Birding Center... and beautiful sunrises. Beautiful new swimming pool and hot tub. Great restaurants nearby - especially Zeste - we love that one! Bahia Mar is very pet friendly too.

I stayed here with my husband and 2 small kids for a week. We loved it! It is right on the beach, as shown. The condo was very nice, clean, and well equipped. The owner was friendly and easy to work with. Would definitely recommend!

The listing of the condo was very accurate. The view was beautiful, condo was very clean, we could hear the ocean waves from the condo. Thanks for sharing the condo with us. We had a great time relaxing on the beach, crabbing, & boogie boarding. It was nice to go to sleep with the sound of the waves hitting the shore. Spring Break 2008.
