Manana is a three bedroom, three bath villa with pool overlooking Leverick Bay in North Sound on Virgin Gorda, BVI. As you walk through the gate, you are in the land of enchantment ... the sound of the waterfall into the pool, the poolside Spanish tile patio is surrounded by flora and overlooks the sea. And, when the sun gets too hot one can rest in the hammock under the shaded cabana.
The covered deck provides a beautiful wake up call for breakfast and a wonderful sunset and starlit evening for dinner, cooked on the barbeque. The scenes on the waterfront are forever changing, with 180 degree views of the marina and the two entrances into North Sound providing wonderful entertainment!
If you were to take the roof off Manana, she would resemble a peace sign ... how fitting, because it is so very peaceful here in the Caribbean. Manana, one of the original "round houses," has been fully renovated and refurbished and is a charming vacation villa. The kitchen has all new appliances and can seat 4-8 persons; the bathrooms are new and have wonderful views from each shower! The bedrooms are spacious with King bedsupstairs and queen below ... the furnishing is simple, but definitely high quality.
Just a two minute walk to either of two beaches at Leverick Bay for great snorkeling and swimming, Manana is located just 50 feet above the water -- high enough for a great view, but close enough to enjoy the sound of lapping water at the shore. Also just a two minute walk is the Chef's Pantry for provisions, and Leverick Bay Resort with restaurants, shops, spa and tennis court. Water sports are abundant with SCUBA diving and snorkeling trips from Dive BVI and boat rentals from Water sports. North Sound is home to three other resorts, and six restaurants accessible only by water, yet easy to get to by free water taxi or ferry transport from Leverick Bay or nearby Gun Creek.

The home, location , furnishings, deck and pool are absolutely wonderful. The views of the harbor and surrounding islands are second to none. All amenities are within walking distance; hope to return soon to this "little slice of heaven".

My husband and I stayed at "Manana" for a week this last August. We have never stayed in a villa that was so well equipped. I like to cook on vacation. We have travelled to many different islands, and stayed at many different accommodations. Often, the kitchens have been very frustrating. Not so with the Manana kitchen. There wasn't once I looked for something, and didn't find it. I think the difference is the owners spend months in their villa benefiting anyone that rents. The AC worked great. It was clean. It was quiet. Pusser's general store was a short walk when I forgot to buy something at the main store in the Valley. I was amazed at what that little store contained. The view was wonderful from the deck which was cooled by the breeze, and outdoor fans. We watched the boats dock at Leverick while we ate at the outdoor table. We go to Virgin Gorda to snorkel, and relax. The snorkeling was especially good this year along with great weather. The house is perfect for relaxing inside in the AC or outside on the two sofas. I would unconditionally recommend "Manana".
