We highly recommend Villa Pomme D'amour. It was absolutely beautiful and the owners, Josee and Pierre, were most accommodating. The villa was very nice and we were very pleased to see that when we arrived the refrigerator was stocked with food to get us through our first morning. The view from our villa was incredible, complete with beautiful sunsets. The service Josee and Pierre provided was stellar and unlike any place we've ever stayed. Josee will happily make arrangements for any activities you would like to do and provide you with excellent advice on navigating your way. We never had to worry about anything. We took the water taxi which included snorkeling, we climbed the Gros Piton, had a couples massage in Ti Kaye, and relaxed poolside and in the cove by the villa. All of it was wonderful. We could not have picked a better place to spend our honeymoon!

Our 2 weeks at Villa Pomme D'Amour was simply wonderful. From the time we were met at the airport by Pierre, to our sad farewell after 2 weeks, we couldn't have been made more welcome by Josee and Pierre, the perfect hosts. Always available to help us and offer advice, but never intrusive. All the things they said to do on the Island - Climb the Pitons (even with our 7 and 9 year olds), Volcano visit, boat trip with Carlos, etc, were all great, and Josee seemed to love spending the time to tell about their home and the Island so we could make the best of our time in St Lucia. I'm often cynical of the descriptions of such villas, but this exceeded all expectations. The view, the scenery, the atmosphere, the sounds at night (the tree frogs and cicadas were amazing, and the children loved trying to catch and spot the tree frogs at night) were everything you would expect from St Lucia, and much more. The Villa was great - well equipped, great view, cleaned regularly and fantastic swimming Pool. Having spent 2 weeks visiting other places on the Island, it is easy to say the Marigot bay is the most beautiful and picturesque bay and place on the Island. Our kids loved the food at Doolittles, Hurricane Hole and the Ice Creams at the Harbour, which were all a short drive down - or walk - from the villa. Getting a boat across the bay to Doolittles for the beach or dinner was fun for us all. Whether you are family with kids, or a couple looking for a getaway, you must visit Villa Pomme D'Amour. You'll not regret it.

Villa Pomme D'Amour is a gem!

The location, the property, and the owners are all equally wonderful! The villa is lovely, comfortable and very clean. All amenities are thought of and many needs anticipated, including sunscreen and bugspray. Pierre and Josie are always on hand to answer any questions and help you find the activities that interest you. Josie books everything for you so that you spend all of your time relaxing and enjoying your vacation. Our family spent a week and a half at Villa Pomme D'Amour in August with two teenage girls and there is so much to do on the island that they were always entertained. We really enjoyed swimming and dining inRodney Beach, hiking to the remote waterfalls with swimming holes, snorkeling in and around Souffriere, boating with Carlos, and all of the restaurants in Marigot. The locals are quite friendly and the island is very safe. Driving is on the left but very easy once you are out a bit. The roads are paved just about anywhere you want to go. You may encounter gravel roads to some of the beaches that are more remote but otherwise nice roads that are easy to navigate. The convenience of having so many options available just down the hill in Marigot made even our lazy days full of things to do if we chose to do them. If you are looking for a quiet get-away that you can tailor to your desires this is truly the place for you. Everything is on "island time" and you just have to sit back and enjoy and not be in a rush. Really one can't help but unwind and relax.

i am writing this comment for those who may be searching for the perfect place to stay while in St Lucia, this is it. The owners Josee and Pierre are the best hosts you will ever find, kind , generous , knowledgable about the island and always willing to help with suggestions, where to eat, shop or sight seeing trips. The villa is beautifully located in Marigot bay overlooking a small cove (around the corner from Marigot bay itself,) there is a pathway which will take you down to the beach, where you can snorkel or use the kayak available to you. The apartments are all finished nicely with everthing you will need for your stay, when we arrived Josee had put fresh flowers in the apartment and stocked the fridge for our first mornings breakfast. The pool overlooks the hillside and the beach below, at night you can sit on the pool deck or your own deck (runs the full length of the building) and watch the sun go down, look for the green flash as the sun disappears on the horizon, i have not seen the green flash yet!!! , must mean that i need to go back to St Lucia. We are making plans now. Book this beautiful place you will have no regrets, only memories to last a lifetime.
