There is more to a holiday in Le Marche than a swimming pool.(although we have a pure water ( free of toxic chemicals including chlorine) one). Meet "real" Italy, ancient hilltowns, steeped in history, but not in tourists. The incredible landscape will nourish your spirit and rekindle a sense of wonder at the beauty of the world. The authentic restaurants offer great value for money, and the delicious food will have your mouth watering.
Here there is so much to do and see that you will wish you could stay longer, from amazing limestone caves, to ancient forts and castles, Roman archeological sites, stunning architecture and beautiful paintings. Hiking, mountain biking or hunting for wild flowers in the `Sibillini mountains. Or if you want to take it easy in true Italian style, there are fabulous family friendly beaches to laze away the days and soak up the sunshine. Hang out in the beautiful piazzas in the nearby towns of Fermo and Ascoli Piceno, soak up the atmostphere and enjoy delicious coffee and pastries whilst watching the world go by. If you fancy a splurge, or doing some early Christmas shopping there are some great bargains to be had in the many top name factory outlets in the region. We will even help with the language and if necessary translate over the telephone if difficulties arise.
We have a created a beautiful apartment for you to enjoy whilst you explore Italy's "best kept secret". The emphasis here is on comfort and quality. Large showers, abundant hot water, the main bedroom even has a memory foam bed. And because you are on holiday we will make your bed for you every day and keep the bathrooms clean, If you want we will even make breakfast for you ( and leave it in your Kitchen for you to enjoy whenever suits you).
Villa in the vineyard offers a perfect location for a rejuvenating retreat at any time of the year, (the super insulated walls and underfloor heating guarantee a cosy stay in autumn and winter ). As the apartment is situated on the ground floor, there is direct access to the gardens and extensive vineyards which you are welcome to explore.
We have got GREEN CREDENTIALS too. We have reconstructed our house to very high insulation levels using recycled forest clippings (wood fibre boards)with the latest ventilated roof technology, which both keeps the heat out in the summer and the cold out in the winter. All the paints and materials used are non toxic and allow the walls to 'breathe'. We have solar panels to heat the hot water , which also feeds into the underfloor heating. We have carefully reused whatever materials possible from the original house, and have sourced local materials wherever possible. We have swimming pool we have a 30 foot by 15 foot pool free from all toxic chemicals including chlorine which is set in large sun terrace with safety fences and gates so children can play safely. The pool is well insulated and easily reaches 86F or 30 C in the summer months.

Why the Owner Chose Montelparo
We love Italy and this for us this is one of the most beautiful areas . It is real Italy free from hoards of tourists and has jaw dropping scenery, a rich culture and history, fascinating historic towns and villages, fantastic local cuisine and a beautiful climate. We chose to create an eco house and yet built it from traditional materials authentic to the region. Its location has its own microclimate and is private without being isolated as we are very near all essential amenities and shops. We have chosen to live here permanently as it is so perfect for us. We are only 25 Kms from the sea and it is only 1 hr from 2 airports served by low cost airlines, and Rome is 2.5 hrs away.
The Unique Benefits of this Ground Floor Apt in Villa
It is nestled in a beautiful valley with stunning views to hill towns and mountains both peaceful and relaxing, our guests have all commented how superbly equipped, furnished, homely and large the apartment is and we have a pool free of toxic chemicals and chlorine set on a beautiful sun terrace with outstanding views getting sun from sunrise to near sun set. The gardens are over 2 acres and have outstanding views to all sides We have some of the best restaurants here and one of the best butchers in the area. The cuisine is authentic and delicious. We are close the many factory outlets for purchase of famous name leather goods and clothes (e.g. Tods Gucchi Prada etc.) We just love the fact that around every corner is a new and magical view.
In the summer there is a rich culture of festivals and in Le marche there is a vast selection of activities, festivals of food, music of all genres,opera theatre all the year round. The area is steeped in history and it is reflected in the beautiful hill towns cities and villages in the architecture and art. We love wandering through the myriad of hill towns and villages. Our local population are helpful, warm and friendly unsullied by hoards of tourists.
