Fantastic Vacation @ A Beautiful Vacation Home

My wife and two kids (ages 14 and 20 months) just returned from our Spring Break vacation at Bama Breeze. This was our first vacation to the Alabama gulf coast, and Orange Beach truly is a slice of paradise. It was very easy to get around anywhere in the Orange Beach and surrounding areas (Gulf Shores, Foley, etc) because Bama Breeze is in a perfect location. The home is absolutely fantastic. The house is situated on a beautiful canal with spectacular views. My favorite was the east view when the sun comes up at dawn, it is awesome. The house is big and roomy with high ceilings and large open spaces. The amenities are top notch, the beds are very comfortable, and the large kitchen and outdoor seating areas are inviting and very comfortable as well. Everything the owners (Ken and Deidre) promised, and continue to promise, on their website and in their conversations with us was 100% accurate. From Bama Breeze you have easy access to the beach, stores, and restaurants. If you go to the closest beach access, from the house driveway, it is 3-left turns through 2 stoplights and 1-right turn and your total travel time is approximately 4 minutes. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the large deck overlooking the pool and canal and spending most of our time outside enjoying the outdoors. We spent one day at the Naval Air Station Museum at Pensacola watching the Blue Angels practice as it was only a 17-mile drive on the GPS from Bama Breeze. We highly recommend Bama Breeze as it is a beautiful home with great owners who will go out of their way to make sure you have an excellent vacation experience. We are looking forward to a return trip in the future. If you have questions, you should give the owners a call as they are fantastic folks. Good luck and happy, safe travels!

Stayed at Bama Breeze over our recent spring break, & it was fabulous. The owners & the property itself were top notch, staying here allowed us to put all energy into just enjoying our vacation. To start with, I am a big fan of renting through VRBO instead of paying much more for less space at a hotel. Seriously, a week at a 4BR house w/ full kitchen, personal pool & boat slip/dock vs. impersonal hotel w/ cramped quarters & waiting in lobby or elevator? For same $ or less in some cases? The only time I will ever justify staying in regular hotel again is for short stays w/ just my husband when I want to pampered by spa & room service. Specifically, Bama Breeze has a lot to offer (& its all there on the listing & web site...photos are accurate & up to date) plus the owners go beyond the call of duty. They were attentive, helpful, & prompt in all communications. You need to make trip to the store to get essentials like extra toilet paper, but if you are staying in a house you are probably going for kitchen provisions anyway. Speaking of, this was the most stocked kitchen we have ever rented. Grandparents visited w/ us a few days & we had several memorable meals, w/ cocktails on the various decks during sunset. Everything was clean, and beds comfortable enough. So, the property location was great...we felt like we were locals :) In fact, if you are ok w/ short drive to the beach & being on the waterways instead this house is perfect. We had no trouble dropping our waverunner at launch down the road & docking it right where we could always keep an eye on it. Bringing it (or a boat) is worth it...lots of great exploring & places to visit. We hung out on a "private" island & even rode next to some dolphins. Didn't catch any fish, but my 10 yr. old had fun trying...& yes, she even swam in the early season water (brrrr)...ocean & pool :) Would recommend Bama Breeze to any family that wants the beach but doesn't need to be right on it...in our opinion, Orange Beach is a bit newer & prettier than Gulf Shores.Tacky Jacks had great food, & our best dinner was at Cobalts. Drove to Pensacola one day & adored the historic downtown. Perfect vacation!!! Thanks Ken & Deirdre :)

We have stayed at Bama Breeze the last 3-years and can't wait to go back. Owners are wonderful people to deal with and make stays very pleasent. The canal has great fishing and we have seen dolphins on many occasions. The house is well decorated and the kitchen has everything you need for day to day uses. I would highly recommend this home for a wonderful vacation and we are looking forward to our next stay.

We recently stayed at the Bama Breeze for 7 days with our family. We had a wonderful time!! The Hart's are so great to work with... The pool was a great bonus for our small children!! We would highly recommend staying at this home!! By the way, we loved looking at the artwork... Deidre is an amazing artist!! Thank you Ken & Deidre for letting us stay in your home!! We made lots of memories in those 7 days!!

Best Alabama Vacation EVER

We have been to this area 3 years for a family summer vacation once to Gulf Shores, once to Ft. Morgan and now Orange Beach. We absolutely love Orange Beach. There's a lot of families there and tons of stuff to do. There are several restaurants/bars on the road where the house is located. We tried Happy Harbor, but sat there from 10 minutes and never saw 1 person so we left. Calypso Joe's was our best meal. Delicious island slaw, crab cakes, jerk chicken nachos and burgers. Our family, including my in laws and husband's grandma really enjoyed Bama Breeze. The house was very well equipped, the private pool was great and the resident bird was lots of fun for my daughters, ages 11 & 14. They fished and caught quite a few, saw some hermit crabs, lizards & frogs. The owner has these beautiful paintings throughout the house that she did personally. We really love those. Everything in the house was on one level, which was great for grandma. She also enjoyed reading on the back deck. My husband and his dad went on a charter fishing trip and caught a 35 pound Cobia, 2 Spanish mackeral, and a large Red Snapper (not in season yet so had the throw back). Fishing at the pier was also great for them. The ladies all enjoyed shopping at the Wharf, which is really close and the Tanger outlet mall. I think its safe to say we will be back next year to Bama Breeze! Maybe sooner.

"What a great trip we had!" What a perfect place to stay and enjoy Orange Beach. The house was great. Very clean and roomy. We had such a great time that we will be back asap. All the painting was done by Deidre Hart. She is very talented. Everything was nice, the pool, the boat slips and underneath the house. I can't say enough what a good time our family had together down there at "Bama Breeze". We will be back. Thanks, Ken It was awesome!!!

Our stay at Bama Breeze was wonderful. The pictures we saw on the site were exactly what we got. It was clean and easy to locate. The location was excellent. We were close to the beach, restaurants ,grocery stores, and shopping. The neighborhood was great for walking, bike riding, and running. The house was completely functional. Especially the kitchen. And the tv had only one remote, which made it so easy to use. The view was amazing. We rented kayaks and actually kayaked to the house for a break and went back. We followed a dolphin into one of the canals on our trip. It was about 10' away. The children we so excited. The pool was just the right size for our children. We took full advantage of soaking up the sun at the pool. Our 10yr old said he slept so well and felt safe at Bama Breeze. That means alot. Tacky Jacks and Calypso Joe's are with in a short walk. We recommend Tacky Jacks for breakfast. And the Tuna Steak at Calypso Joe's was good. This was our 5th stay in Orange Beach and we all agree this was our favorite stay yet. Ken was very kind, as we had left something behind and made arrangements for us to get it back. We hope to rent Bama Breeze in the future. It was home away from home for our family.

Best vacation. Property just as describe on website. Close to grocery store, shopping and beaches. Ken was very easy to work with and get ahold of. House was very clean and beautiful. Had a great time, look forward to coming back. We have already recommend Bama Breeze to several people. Did a dolphin cruise and it was great.

oba is paradise and bamma breze just adds to it. this house is well kept and well furnished and to us it's a home away from home! theres not enough words to discribe how great it is! spent our vacation in may and loved it so much we're going back in sept. the owners are great to work with!!!!!!!! when they say boat friendly they mean it!

RELAXING WEEK IN PARADISE!!

It's difficult to decide which is more spectacular in this lovely vacation spot; the stunning and extensive canal views, the impeccably clean and beautifully decorated home, or the close proximity to the beach, fishing, restaurants, shopping and family activities! My husband and I enjoyed a much needed vacation with really great weather and warm temperatures. Morning is lovely with the huge windows bringing lots of sun into the spacious living area facing the canal...coffee on the front deck watching the birds and boats is so relaxing! I loved that the kitchen is so well equipped so we could really cook a great meal in when we were not enjoying seafood at a nearby canal or beachside restaurant! We had everything we needed in this house and even WiFi so we could keep up with our emails. We had a great evening watching the Oscars on the big flat screen TV in the gorgeous living room decorated in light beachy colors (girls notice those things)! Each of the 4 bedrooms is so completely furnished and equipped with TVs, lots of good lighting, mirrored closets and coordinating tropical themed bedding. There are artistic details throughout the home as well as a great area under the house for grilling and sitting under a protected area...a neat gathering place! We highly recommend this beautiful Gulf getaway...truly a home away from home. Can't wait to come back!

My kids and I went down for a few days and it was absolutely beautiful! The house is incredible and sits right on the water with the perfect place to dock a boat. The weather couldn't have been better and fishing was wonderful! Can't wait to get back!

Our family rented Bama Breeze for Memorial Day Weekend 5/28/10 to 5/31/10. The home is absolutely incredible with all and more of the amenities you could ever ask for. The sunrise and sunsets are amazing and the fishing was awesome. Our 9 year old fished every morning and evening and was just tickled with the amount of fish he caught. The home is plenty spacious and the beds were so comfy! The decor is just fabulous, making you feel right at home as you enter the property for the first time! We will most definitely be back. Our thanks to the owners for letting us stay! We so enjoyed our stay!!!!!!!

I stayed at the Bama Breeze for the second time recently. We all had a great time. This house is close to everything. The Hangout Music Festival was a lot of fun. What a place to have a music festival, right on the beach! (and we had shuttle bus pick us up near the house so it was convenient too) Two great bars are within walking distance, Tacky Jack's and a new one we found this year The Hidden Cove. A few more bars are close but we had so much fun at these that we kept going back. Overall I would recommend this place to everyone. I spent so much time having fun in Orange Beach that I only left time for one day of relaxing and enjoying the house. I loved the breeze as we enjoyed a few drinks on the great porch and got some sun as we had a few more on the dock. We will definitely be back again!

Our stay at the Bama Breeze was absolutely wonderful. The entire place was very clean and close to all of the local flavors. The bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable. Having a spacious kitchen to cook a meal at the Bama Breeze or being able to walk to local restaurants and nightlife was very convenient and enjoyable. Definitely will stay here again on the next trip to Orange Beach!!!

We stayed here in the first week of May (5/1-5/8) and we had a great time. The house was extremely clean, the owners were really easy to work with for booking and when we arrived, everything was stocked and nice. Huge kitchen, lovely decor, and everything was well maintained. You could not ask more for a vacation house! We were able to take our boat out, go to the beach, and go out to bars/restaurants very easily from this location. Would highly recommend this rental and their owners, the Harts - they were so accommodating and nice!

We had a very enoyable time during our stay at Bama Breeze the week of December 26, 2009. What a beautiful, comfortable, spacious home in a beautiful area! The house is very clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is fully stocked; everything we needed, and more, was there. We were close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. There was an open New Year's Eve party on the Wharf close by. We especially enjoyed the view while sitting on the deck watching boats go by in the canals. The availability of the pier was very convenient. We had a great time and we're already talking about going back. We highly recommend this rental home!

We had a fabulous stay at the Bama Breeze in August, 2009. You can't beat the location! We used our boat often- it was only minutes away from the bay and the pass to enter the Gulf. Aside from the restaurants that are close and accessible by boat, there are also great islands out there to stop at for picnics, drinks, and shelling! The house itself is beautiful and comfortable. My kids love eating breakfast and watching the boats go by from all the large windows. The kitchen was fully stocked and the living areas were very comfortable. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, even for our large group, and all were well decorated. We also love the covered area under the house for hanging out in the shade! It was a great place for a relaxing trip and we can't wait to go again!

This residence is a great place to stay!! Stayed here for a Girls Weekend. It was perfect! It is well-maintained and clean. It is on the water, but in a quiet channel; so it is has the perfect ambiance! I will definitely be back to the Bama Breeze!

My friends and I just returned from a glorious week at your beautiful Bama Breeze--we were pleased beyond our expectations! The home is so comfortable and roomy with each guest having ample space, very comfortable beds, a kitchen so well equipped that the five of us gals (gourmet cooks all!) could find nothing missing and turned out some spectacular dinners! Tacky Jacks is a few steps away if cooking was not on the agenda. Mrs. Hart's beautiful art adorned the walls throughout the home--we felt as though we were her very special guests. Mr. Hart called part way through our visit to make sure we were comfortable--not used to that and needless to say, we were all impressed! There was a wonderful selection of consignment shops in the area and we entertained ourselves for one entire day and didn't spend much money either. We didn't check out the walking trail until the last day, but will explore more of that next visit. The real estate company is the personification of what we all wish customer service was everywhere--they are real pros! We all thank you for the use of your very special home. God supplied perfect weather every day too! Many thanks.
