Great Place to Relax

What a beautiful and relaxing home. We wanted for nothing - the accommodations were great, beds were comfortable, the kitchen was very well stocked, and it felt like "home". The view from the deck (and many of the windows) was just wonderful. Sitting on the deck with a hot cup of coffee, looking out at the wonderful river view was fantastic. There were eight of us and we never felt crowded. We would certainly rent this again!

The experience at this property was amazing. The home was clean, spacious and very inviting...we enjoyed the beautiful deck over looking the lake, played many games on the lawn and enjoyed many nights sitting around the fire pit. The sand was a great place for the kids to play and we enjoyed boating on this beautiful lake. Our family would have loved to stay longer and we would definitley stay here again!

Awesome!! Wow what a great vacation spot. The house has everything you could possibly need. The owners provided all kinds of dishes and house hold amenities. We loved being outside on the deck for meals and "happy hour". We spent our days water skiing, wake boarding and just touring the area in our boat. Some of our party took in the Sandpoint festival which was great. The younger generation enjoyed the expansive grassed area for rugby, volleyball and badminton. The location of this property is the best, 10 min from Priest River and 15 min from Sandpoint. The Pend Orielle River is the best boating spot the water is less chopping than the big lake. It was one of the best vacations we had had in years, would highly reccomend it to anyone. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful Vacation Home

This vacation rental is wonderful, it is thoughtfully stocked with lots of extras throughout the house. High quality appliances, large and small. Plenty of dishes, glasses, mixing bowls and silverware and kitchen gadgets for even the largest of parties. The linens and towels, for inside the home and at the perfectly groomed sandy beach were plentiful and again of high quality. The beds are so comfortable, we are going to personally purchase one of those Davenport mattresses. The "Welcome Book" the owners made for this home, is full of information regarding the surrounding area, boat rentals, dining and the use of the homes tv and stereo system. Which I might add, is very nice. The furniture is very comfortable to curl up in. The den is perfect for reading, quiet and cozy with soft throw blankets. Many games and reading material supplied for indoor play, and enjoyment. The wildlife is abundant, we saw a moose one morning. The eagles and osprey and little birds are busy all day long. The fishing off the dock was fun, we caught lots of fish. A marina is just across the river for easy fueling of your boat, and also dining. The boat lift was easy to use with our rental boat. The grounds are professionally manicured, with a fire pit and horse shoe pit. Lots of deck chairs and tables on the deck for that perfect barbeque outdoors. We loved the adirondack chairs at the beach and fire pit area, again plentiful. All in all, you just can't get much better than this vacation rental. The owners were easy to work with, very accommodating and thoughtful. We truly enjoyed our weeks stay. A personal "Thank You" to the owners for their thoughtfulness when supplying their vacation rental with supplies and furnishings. We will be back in the future.

What a great vacation home! We enjoyed a family get-together between Christmas and New Years. The layout and design of the home was perfect for our group consisting of our children, their spouses and our grandchildren. Everyone had plenty of room for their activities. The kitchen allowed plenty of space for more than one cook at a time. The area was like a winter wonderland. Snow shoeing, cross country skiing, sledding, building snow caves and snowmen were all things we were able to do on the property. The ski hill was a short drive for those who wanted to downhill ski. It would be great to visit the area again in the summer months and stay here again. I highly recommend it!

The cabin or house was great. The beds were wonderful. The great room set up was great for evenings and breakfast. The décor and quality of finish work were well done. We were impressed with the TV/Stereo/Satellite set up.We loved the deck and the large table and comfortable chairs. The sandy beach and beach chairs with the fire pit were also very popular. The grass area was perfect for yard games and the horseshoe pit was a hit:).The dock and boat lift were great. The boat lift worked well and came in handy on the one windy day we had.The BBQ was the bomb? It worked flawlessly and we were able to do most of our cooking on the deck which was very nice. We loved having such a sophisticated washer and dryer and it came in very handy. Overall this place is very good and we would recommend it to all that are interested.Bill

A beautiful "home away from home" for our summer holiday at Pend Orielle. Amazing amenities, extremely comfortable for the 8 of us with lots of room to spare. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings and playing croquette and bocce ball on the beautiful lawn. Beautiful location on the Pend Orielle River for water skiing, tubing, or just "cruising". Very quiet and amazing bird watching. A beautiful half-hour boat ride to Sandpoint or a 15 minute drive on HWY 2. Thank you We'll be back!!

Wow, this property has it all! Beach, dock and a beautiful setting. Wake up each morning and have your tea/coffee on the large deck overlooking the Pend Oreille River. Son-in-law caught so many fish. This is one of our better family vacations and we look forward to using it again in the future.
